WHY? I don't get why 2 handed enemies hit you even if they are attacking someone in front of them and you are completely behind them. Does this not completely take the point of out playing as a dual wield rogue? Especially since you don't heal out of combat.

They swing their weapon around themselves, look at the animation, alternatively they slam the ground causing aoe damage. They often telegraph this by raising their weapon etcetera, use parry or run back to avoid the damage and then go back in afterwards.

It’s a bug (or a crappy conscious decision). There’s a reason why people actually swing the weapons in front of them in real life.

(Although it’s not out of the realm of possibility that someone behind would occasionally be struck and unable to dodge it. But not at full force, nor every time.)

Knockout powder is good for this if they telegraph when they're gonna do it (like when bears stand up). I don't play a second of combat outside of tac cam riding the pause button though, so ymmv.

The absolute worst thing I've found about playing dagger rogue so far is that Shadow Strike seems to miss about 80% of the time. I have no idea if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just broken.

The mobs do telegraph their attacks.......but with the slow turning/starting/stopping movement its very hard to move out of the way.
