Are there only two styles for the mage in different colors and can i wear a different classes armor? Also I'm just beginning (lvl 8) so i might be wrong but i haven't seen a variety of armor for my mage at all.

Whats the most downloaded mods in any RPG... Hair and outfits. When you have the ability to create a CC instantly the most important part of the game just became "How is my CC going to look". Its kinda obvious the lack of choice is minimal. Not bad looking overall but when 3 people are wearing the same outfit as you its quite annoying.

Level 6 here. My mage has gone through several different outfits. Some do just change colour. I do a lot of exploring...that gets me armour and armour schematics, which I bring to the smith for armour upgrading or armour creation..
Class armour is, unfortunately, class armour.
