So, I am stuck in the quest "In Hushed Whispers". I actually finished it a while ago, but it won't disappear from my journal, because I am supposed to "Enter Redcliffe". Which I have done, like ten times, and nothing happens!
Does anyone know how to fix that without having to load a save before or during the quest, because that would mean losing many hours of gaming...
Yeah I have the same issue... I think I also know why this has become an issue for me. First time I entered the Redcliffe there was a very long loading sequence, like 2 minutes (dunno what was up with that) but after I had loaded the area the game seemed to not register the fact that I had entered Redcliffe.. I didn't notice this then but later I have always had a "-Enter Redcliffe" as a part of the quest chain and thus it refuses to complete, since it counts as something I still need to do before quest is finished...
This is kinda annoying since In hushed whispers is part of a MAIN quest chains and only way to get next main quest in the chain is to complete this quest... so I'm screwed, am I?
Any1 know if there are some kinda console commands to clear/complete quests?... I'd really like that :/
E: btw, I was wrong about the "quest chain" complaint, I mean I do seem to have the next quest in line "In your heart shall burn"... but the old quest persistently remains in the quest journal.
Hello, same for me, I had the long loading thing while entering Redcliffe for the first time, and since I still have "enter Redcliffe" in my journal, like the quest is not complete, and the quest is still in the quest to do. I'm afraid it will block other quests, I have played a lot since this quest and I don't want to do it again^^' Anyone found a solution? I'm on the PS4 version.
I am on PC...And I do wonder if it could prevent other quests from happening!
As far as I am concerned, for instance, I can not trigger Dorian's personnal quest (Mother Giselle is supposed to give you a letter) and I don't know if it might have something to do with this quest still being active...
Lets hope that coming patches fix a bulk of these problems...
I've also had some major bugs that corrupted several of my save files. At first I noticed I couldn't order some of my party members attack.. they would just stand there. Loading the save file resulted in a corruption... but, so much for that off topic.
It could be great if we have some answers from Bioware, I really enjoy the game, but there is a lot of bugs and it pollute my experience of the game. If we are anable to play some quests, this is not cool...
Ok so...I have bravely (?) decided to restart the entire quest. So I basically said bye bye to 30+ hours of gaming (thanks Bioware).
I did not have the black screen this time, therefore my quest is officially completed! But that really, really sucks! I was so far in the game!
