I'm playing DAI on PC with my xbox360 controller. From what I can see, the game has no 'on fly' change of the controller type, it can only be done via save&exit into the main menu.  And setting the game to work with a gamepad turns off the keyboard-mouse entirely (other than for typing custom names for crafted items, lol).  The question is, does it mean that we have no quick save\quick load features?

 

I don't see why would they prevent us from using at least basic keys ( like 'esc' to exit or quick save), and I don't see any sort of rebinding option.   Am I missing something?

As far as I noticed so far the only usage of keyboard at all is for naming crafted 

items. Didn't find any other way of keyboard support in controller mode...

same here, but I thought I might have missed something. I don't think we have anything on the left&right 'cross' buttons, up&down scrolls through the party. and two others were unbound (thus far). But it does not look like we can change the pad layout in any way.
