Anyone else regret playing as a Qunari on single player? Qunari is awesome for battles but I noticed my Qunari glitching on 2 cut scenes so far and the Qun's arms moving through the body on cut scenes as if all the physics are meant for only the other race. The whole vitarr face paint is cool however I can't equip Helmets so it is a turn off and I do like the way armor looks on Humans better. I don't want to start over but im definitely going Human 2nd play through!

Still enjoying being the new Sten.. just should of went with Human.

The only issue that I've had with him is that the cut scene framing doesn't change to allow for his size.  So there have been a few scenes where I just see his shoulders and chest.

The worst was during the sex scene with Dorian.  He was supposed to be framed so that Dorian's body blocked him "Austin Powers" style.  Instead, all I saw was his knee and hip.

Other than that?  I love this race.

I haven't noticed any glitches so far.  The only thing I  don't like is the Vitaar.  It's a cool concept, but some of the colors just look ridiculous and not as cool.  I wish there was an option to customize the color pallets of Vitaars.  I'd honestly consider taking the hit to stats to wearing them sometimes.

For those who've beaten the game or played through most? Do we meet any Qunari besides just IB?

You do realize that the game has an option to hide the helmet/head slot armors. I personally Like the paint better than some of the helmets. I played an elven warrior once, rerolled Qunari.

I love playing as a Qunari! There are some body issues (a lot of shots tend to focus on her chest rather than her face, but I like to think of that as one of those 'it's not a bug it's a feature' moments), and yeah, most armors look kind of weird and bulky. But she looks great in her inquisitor jammies! And honestly just being super tall, stacked, and having rad horns cancels the rest out for me. Plus I love the way their faces look!

I dislike Vitaar because it's the tattoo I never wanted. It persists in cutscenes, unlike helmets and is visible in Skyhold... unlike helmets. The worst part is, I like helmets in this game, I want them to be visible. But if I do, I'm stuck with the everlasting Vitaar. And I've only found one I can stand so far, as the rest are far too face covering and far too garish. Red lips, yellow face and black eyeshadow? Really? Stupid Bull even gets a unique helmet, but they couldn't give me one?

The ill framed cutscenes are bad but not awful. The hairstyles downright suck (there's a bald patch on the bun on both genders), but I've "made my peace" with them. The extra melee defence is nice. The body... the shoulders are slightly too broad for me, and the entire body looks like a human scaled and beefed up with a human-sized head (like an elf in DA:O, but scaled up instead of down). I wish they had made a truly unique body for them... like giving them all slightly wider hips and barrel chests. It would look unique, and badass. Also the female needs more muscle on her arms.

As I said, I kind of like the Vitaar, and hate the helmets in this game (at least on the Elf Inquisitor, everyone else that keep their faces covered for all I care, besides Sera). I feel that it fits the Qunari well. Plus, if I do not like the Vitaar in the later levels, just hit the Switch to hide them

But, you know, different strokes and all that.

As for the hairstyles, never noticed anything wrong with them, but I also do not care too much about my inquisitor's looks to notice that stuff.

I noticed a few graphical problems. In several scenes my character's head was just slightly in frame or completely out of frame. During the opening scene my character's hand moved completely through the shackles that were supposed to be holding him. The position of his left hand under Cassandra's head during the romance scene was strange relative to where they both were laying. Most of the vitaar looked horrible, so I toggled headgear off.

All that being said, no, I don't regret it for a moment.
