This quest in the Hinterlands states that I need to bring Felandaris to the tree. Who or what is Felandaris? I have been all over the map and do not see a person named Falandaris. What am I missing?

I didn't get Felandaris until like 40 hours into the game(I do every map and talk to every NPC though),
When I finally did go back to complete that quest I think it gave me a tiny, tiny bulb of exp and nothing else.

Felandaris can apparently also drop from random enemies, so I think they were expecting you'd get it that way.

It seems this was not well thought out, as tier 3 items are not likely to show up for quite some time after you get the quest.

They only problem really with the quest that I see is that something like a unique level 20 demon should pop out. I am going to be about level 21 here shortly before I even enter the area to get Felandaris. While I suppose it would have been possible to acquire it earlier in the game... I had no idea what it was until I actually got to the area it grows.
I don't mind the having to go back and do it at a later point part... but it should really be a high level encounter by then.
