I hope they will have a quest where you free inquisitor or morrigan from Mythar's control (in Solas' body now maybe)
Hopefully they will show Hawke some more, and maybe he or the warden ally can finish the Hero's work in curing the calling so everyone can be a warden!
If we get a returning companion, I think it will be Cole. He seems like he may seek the next adventure so he can help more people.
Hopefully I can hear some from my favorites who did nothing this game (Merril, Fenris) and some cameos from our DA:I party.
Since I romanced Cassandra who became divine I think it would be interesting to address a servant of Mythal being with the Divine after allying with ancient elves and free mages...
I am excited.

I dunno about Morrigan but my Lavellan who drank from the well is already freed, Flemeth said "you're free now" before leaving me to fight the guardian of the altar

I dont think Solas will be an enemy.
His role will be like flemeth in DA:O and DA:2. He will probably "guide" the player like flemeth did.
And i think that Fen'Harel/the Dreadwolf and Flemeth probably are the two old gods (Razikale and Lusacan) who not appeared as Archdemons. Thats why Flemeth "took" the soul of Urthemiel out of Kieran and she have the ability to transform into a dragon. Maybe the Old Gods are just powerful spirits. In Tevinter they worshipped them as dragons and the old elves as the elven pantheon. The other thought i had was that the old gods of tevinter are the same spirits as the elven pantheon they just turned into demons. Thats why there are just 7 old gods and not 9 like the elven pantheon and only Solas/Fen'Harel and Flemeth/Mythal are still spirits and no demons. Solas said that spirits can turn into demons.
I hope we get some of the old companions back, like Ohgren or Shale. But Ohgren will be to old for a comeback i think.

Saving the world from something that's not crazy old magic stuff for a change would be cool ya, though I do like crazy old magic stuff

I agree with your theory.
The old gods are nothing other than very old "dragon abominations" or at least, spirits that can assume the form of a dragon. That would actually make a lot of sense as we have seen with Anders getting Justice in him (originaly was in a dead warden).
Perhaps the whole deal with Tevinter is that they made Arlathan collapse by trapping the elven "gods" in dragons. That would also explain why dragon hunting in Nevarra used to be so popular and why they are so religious (smash the "competence" of the Maker).
I´d love to see Shale again, by the way. Perhaps allowing her to become a dwarf at last...

I don't think Solas is evil, and I doubt he'll be the big bad in any DLC... I think the Ancient Elves in general are a good bet though, with maybe some hint or continued building towards what will probably be Solas's ultimate purpose in DA4.
I think following up on the mission to Weisshaupt and rebuilding Kirkwall are likely candidates as well.

I honestly not hope that is the case. Sounds waaaaaay too similar to the Wild Hunt in The Witcher.

Eh? How so? I haven't played The Witcher but I'm not seeing a whole ton of similarities in a quick Google here that can't just be traced back to the same real-life mythological roots that most of the genre pulls from.

I doubt solas will be the big bad. More like Morrigan and flemeth IMO
Though I am pretty sure that da4 will be in Tevinter.

I think Solas is more of a Morrigan/Flemeth type figure than a big bad or enemy.
I don't want to see a game about rebuilding Kirkwall. Ew no thanks lol.
Solas was last seen heading west (updated Codex entry in the form of a letter from Leli to Inquiz)... but he told the Inquisition he was from a village, they found ruins of it that appear to be hundreds of years old, and the name only appears in Tevinter legend in some forms. Could be another hint that we'll be heading north for the next game.

Sorry, I meant just a DLC mission, not the entire plot of the next game, that would be pretty...yikes.
Should've elaborated too--it probably would only start as "rebuilding Kirkwall" to get the Inquisitor and friends out there to help, then turn more into figuring out The Enigma of Kirkwall. That whole veil-thinning-gigantic-blood-altar-beneath-the-city thing that only ever showed up in the Codex afaik.

I want a DLC/Expansion where we play the Warden from DA:O as s/he travels the far west in search of an "cure" for the calling.

I feel like there is plenty of information left to tell about Solas and what he has done/is doing.
Why he thought giving an elven orb with the power to rip the Veil open to what is basically the first darkspawn is beyond me (no matter how weak he was after awaking).
I also hope for this to be covered in DLC because I don't think I can wait another 4 years to find out what is going on with that. xD

My take on this is that chances are that we will get an expansion centered around Solas or at least, the causes for his actions. Awakening back then showed us the reasons why the blight started (what the Architect did) so perhaps, an expansion will cover those elements.

The Wind Hunt is formed by elves from another world and they have a plan for the one Geralt is in.

The DLC will most liekly serve as a expansion to the main story where we meet Solas again and discover the truth about this 3 DA game long plot.
Also we will probably be given a chance to choose to have Solas return to be our Party Member again or not.

I don't think we know enough about what the heck is going on with Mythral and Fen'harel to be able to make that comparison yet. Even then, "spooky ancient elves mess with the real world" isn't exactly a plot point restricted to Dragon Age and The Witcher...it comes up in pretty much anything with elves in it.

I also think the DLC will be Solas-centric. Who puts in a teaser like that for a game that's still 3-4 years away?
I really hope there's more that we'll be able to do with the Inquisition. It's built up as having the ability to change the world, after all. It'd be a shame to not be able to live up to that promise.

Well it certainly will be a good way to add a lvl 20 - 30 Main Story Arc.
The current Main Story so far can go up to lvl 1 - 20 if players don't spent their time completing all the side quests.

I want:
a 'Finding Solas' DLC that wraps up the elven gods plot and resolves Solas/Flemeth/Morrigan once and for all
a 'Warden's Calling' DLC from the Warden's perspective that wraps up their storyline and all the DAO-DAA-DA2 plot threads (including Sandal and who he really is)
a Citadel-style fun DLC to finish off the Inquisitor's story
then DA4: Tevinter which starts fresh with all new characters and more focused on Qunari/Tevinter issues with more grounded villians and harder choices

"Harder choices"? I just had to choose between sacrificing Hawke and Alistair. That choice was pretty damn heartbreaking.
But yes, I approve of #1 and #3, though I personally don't need anything more with my Warden. That chapter is finished.

I meant harder, more morally grey choices especially in terms of villains, Archdemon/Meredith/Corypheus are very black and white antagonists. I just wouldn't mind a break from a 'magical apocalyptic big bad who needs to be put down' and explore more 'human evil'
