All heavy armor looks like cloth or leather on qunari this really pisses me off. Im tempted to restart my game because of this.

I bought the warden armor schematic from the dalish in exalted plains. On blackwall it looks like the warden commander plate set from DAO but on my qunari inquisitor its a leather jacket wtf is up with that.

Anyone found T2 or 3 armor that look like plate on qunari and if so where is it.

I had a unique heavy armor that was sort of plate like. He had plate boots, plate gloves, plate shoulders, and a piece of plate on his chest. This was on Iron Bull mind you. Im hoping people will be able to make mods for this game.

I'd be okay with this only because I'm playing as a Qunari Assassin and the dark leather coats make sense for him.  But no plate armors is annoying.  It sounds like Qunari in general don't have race-specific armor options either as no one seems to have found them yet.  I don't count vitaar because those are just replacements for helmets and look kind of dumb because on the coloring of some of them possess.

I actually was expecting some Qunari-specific armors. Like large pauldrons, gloves, heavy greaves and then full-body vitaar. It really disappointing that the Qunari got the short-end of the stick in this. I still love playing as one, but... It's just disappointing that even the higher level stuff and unique equipment dropped from Dragons can't even be worn by them.

Restarted as a human because of this.

The only plate i have been able to find for Iron Bull and my Qunari Mage is the Armor you get with the Deluxe Edition. Flames of the Inquisition, but it is relatively ineffective past level 14.

Did you check your crafting station in Skyhold and get the Superb Dragon Armor schematics?  I think it waits until you're a certain level before you receive them - I at least didn't notice them until around level 14, myself.  I wasn't originally a fan of the dragon armor until I saw that the Superb schematics outclassed all the other schematics I had found.  Only thing I wish was that the hands and feet were upgradable on that armor.  :\

yea im looking forward to the talented modders out there in the innernet to mod some really questionable design choices. I got really pissed when i saw my mage magically turning plate armor on him into cloth looking armor. The guys doing the DAI interviews claim to have over thousands of armor design choices but so far at lvl 19, it basically rotates between 3-4 designs per class and item slot with or without mods. really a damn questionable design choice.

I wanted my knight enchanter to look like a knight,, thats why i picked the specialization. Seems like circle mages are pretty adept at transmuting metals into leather and cloth or something. I then had recurring thoughts about restarting the game as a templar or something and also retracting my claim to my friends as a 'highly recommended and customizable game'. Kinda disappointed with this aspect of the game design and dont understand why

Armor design is questionable indeed, especially for Qunari...good game but I don't like how my character looks.
Still, the most disappointing thing: game engine is Frostbite 3, so no new hairstyles, no armor, weapons, customization etc, no mods at all.
Hope dies last,  but I really doubt that it will be possible to mod this game.

Are you playing a rogue character? I get the same thing on my Elf rogue.
