Doubt this is possible but add more random encounters . It seems to be the same random spawn every playthough. Add variety to spawns and additional creature types

Female main characters that don't slouch. Tell me that wouldn't put you off feeling awesome about your character.

 

Be specific in this because better character models doesn't explain that there is a persistent slouch.

 

DLC that gives a better story or ending. Something I care about. An ending with a good battle that feels like a victory. I know it won't happen but I can still ask. Right now, I just don't care about getting to the end because it's uninspired. I'm not alone in this feeling either.

 

Combat wheel so I can use all my abilities. Just add it in. Please? I really love the combat wheel. I want to use ALL my abilities. I don't care about healing anymore. I don't care about potions. But let me have access to all my abilities. For the love of the maker! PLEASE!!! Removing this took a huge portion of fun out of the game. Basic attack is very boring. Really. It is.

 

Skip the kumbaya song after Cory attacks. This is really tedious. Give me the option out cuz I ain't feeling the sing along. My characters' roll their eyes knowing it takes more than a song to pull it together. But if we're going to go the

 

And let me create my character in a glowing white light rather than a putrid green fog, something that resembles normal light in the game so I can see if my makeup is too overbaked, if my skin tone is too dull - maybe even give me the option to exit  the cutscene after creation quickly instead of being dragged through that whole thing if my character looks like hell since I don't see that magical mirror forthcoming and I'm tired of doing hard shutdowns on my new PS4 just to fix an ugly character.

 

No stupid quest for specializations. This bugged on me twice. Ended up a shield warrior who couldn't be a champion and a mage who was not a KE. Just give it to me. Really. I've earned it. Please just remove the quests and let me talk to the people, fetch the book and viola! I'm specialized. Other times when it didn't bug I gained three or four levels while 'earning' my specialization which messed up game because I either didn't use points and became under powered or wasted them and didn't get KE until level 17 or 18.

 

Advisers should be able to take on multiple missions for each adviser at once. Each should be able to handle at least three. One? Makes them look incompetent. An adviser should be able to focus on more than one thing at a time. This would fix war table issues for everyone. In and out with at least three in progress if you refuse to use any but one adviser. If you spread it out, nine done and you can get back to actually playing the game.

 

Camp - let me talk to my party at camp. Having to chase them down at skyhold is a pain. Oh I think that was mentioned. Sorry. I'm just wondering why I can never talk to my companions in the field. Must be that silence bug. Or was this a choice?

The specializations bugged on me twice. That is my issue there.

 

The war table is a waste of time. Really. It is.

 

The final battle was boring and the end of the story is boring as well.

 

If I don't like the sing along I should be allowed to skip it. I'm one of many that feels this way. It's wasting my time waiting for it to be done. I don't like it. I want to skip it. Well within my rights there. RPing an anti chantry, anti andrastian makes this especially annoying.

 

Now mind your own business. Clearly you are just an instigator and a tool.

* I would like to see the cap on the number of save games removed. It's my hard drive and I should be able to use it as I wish. As it is the game allows 25 save games across all characters. I'm sure you guys on the PC can simply go into a file and change a number from 25 to 100. But those of us on consoles cannot. I usually keep 8 to 10 saves per character. I hit the wall the other night and needed to do an additonal save, and had to select a save to overwrite. I was at a point where I was trying something else. You know meta-gaming. I do that. This is my game and this is the way I play. I'd found I'd made a big mistake shopping and went back to where I could correct that, but wasn't sure about if the results would turn out as I would like. If they wouldn't I didn't want to lose what I'd already done, but just fix a different mistake.

 

I didn't notice this, but is there an option to switch between characters? If not there should be. If they removed the cap on save games it could be done easily.

 

I think it will be important to consider with upcoming DLC so that we can go back to a previous character and play the DLCs with each that we've created.

PC Player here, and a few issues concerning the UI functions.

 

I would like an option to entirely turn off the quest tracker. Or make it so that the game doesn't automatically add quests to the tracker.

The problem with current function of "quest tracker fades when inactive" is that the game constantly adds a new (or sometimes old) quests to it. So in effect you mostly get rid of the tracker for a minute or two, before it's back up.

 

Would also like to see a "free camera" mode for handier screenshots (or the ability to just zoom in to 1st person view would do the trick :)

 

Lots of good ideas in this thread already, hope it gets noticed!

The return of the Black Emporium. Easiest way to introduce some cosmetic changes. Along with/Or a wardrobe function in Skyhold (to go with the different colored Skyhold pajamas idea). Because more hairstyles for the love of all that is holy or the ability to fix things that looked good on character creation, but not so good in actual gameplay (blush...evil evil blush). I also miss some of the hair options in DA 2....

i'd be happy only if tactical camera was mouse friendly (no sick wsad control, cam movement on egdes, you know: the usual?), allowed real-time and could be zoomed out more (i want to see through the ceiling, trees and whatnot). those things are critical imho.

 

this would be huge improvement but i can live without: give tooltips, fix skills (check combat&strategy forum to get the idea), AI conditionals, more control of tactics, optional english subs in EVERY language version

 

those are optional, but would make the game perfect: alternate ui for mouse - i don't want to click more than once to choose an option, healing - returning to camp is a huge PITA, named saves (i want to reload a save to see my favourite scene one more time, it's hard to find it atm), more skill slots - i want to do solo nm run, imho it's not possible with non-pure dps classes (you know: other than rogue), higher drop of main char class equipment/schematics - seriously

 

for future releases:

no. fetch. quests.

F:NV was an open world and i wasn't overwhelmed by the pointless flower-gathering crap. how did they do that? sorcery!

more choices - being pragmatic is not the same thing as being a sith. i like being sith. it's fun. you've given us the jedi soo...

no more gear-dependant MMO style, really

I'd quite like to see 'rare' enemies with guaranteed special loot sprinkled throughout the game world. They would have a chance of spawning in a number of different locations within each zone but they wouldn't necessarily be there all the time. Add in a few achievements involving killing them all for a special reward that is unlocked across all characters and it could be a pretty neat investment.

 

If they exist already, I apologise for overlooking them!

Option to hide individual side quests from World Map

 

I'm a casual player, and just want to focus on a couple of quests at a time. Currently, when I look at my quest map, its littered with Quests. I'd like an option in my journal to set inactive quests to "Hide from Quest Map"

Really enjoy the game but many of these suggestions would enhance the experience. What I want to know is when might we see a DLC or a new patch, and what will the content be. I am very, very curious!

Alright so I have been busier than expected so I edited the list by adding and merging some stuff, removed some trivial stuff too. I am NOT done editing it, and will keep at it throughout the coming week but with the holidays, I might not have alot of time to work on this. I swear though I will do my best to shape this up good!

I would like it if they added a “both sides” play though.  This would be once you have played the Mage side and the Templar side you unlock an achievement that then make it so you can play both the Mage and Templar plot/quests in one play through.  With a little additional writing they could make it so you get the Templars and Mages to work together.  This would make the main game longer and some of the plots would make more since.

First thing first : Sorry for my weak English. It's not my main language and I'll try to be as clear as possible.

 

Solo campaign : 

Add some sub-romances. Remember how we bump into a Tali X Garrus kiss sequence in the Normandy? When your inquisitor has choosen his/her definite Love Interest, it would be nice to see some couples coming out. Like a Cassandra x Cullen, a Sera x Leliana or even a Varrick x Hardings! They are not waiting for our Inquisitor to start having a romance after all! And it would make the Party Banter more funny too...

Bring back items in the chests of the map, but after a longer time period than the main ressources, like every two hours. It will give more interest to search in every corner of the map once the subquests are finished.

Okay for a loot level according to the level of the main character, but don't do it in the hardcore way. Like, a max level in a map for the enemy AND the loot, giving more interest for the difficult maps and making the easiest maps good training spots.

In the first Mass Effect, the chests items were different depending of your level. So you know how to do that. Pretty please...

What gives every caracteristics? Did Constitution bring better defense or higher HP? What does a higher Will? No explanation at all does not help and we are talking about a RPG. Give us one more page of manual for that, at least.

 

 

Multiplayer :

Plays a lot at the rogue archer and have somethings to say.

First : you NEED to nerf down the Monster Commander. He is WAY TOO POWERFUL!

1 : He can kill the entire party with his main attack.

2 : His very long range 100% triggering five second panic attack made the survivor death meat with all the mobs around.

3 : 95% of the time, there is no possible reviving, the boss killing every person that stay for more than one second at the same place.

4 : If there is any lag (like my poor internet connexion), the halo giving the clue for the place of his deadly attack appear AFTER the attack, making the instant-killing attack absolutely impossible to avoid!

The dodge of my archer is unusable : My character stay at the same place during more than one second after the dodge, letting the time for the mob to come after him. Even if i try to move, I have the running animation but the character stay on his ground.

Give us the possibility to choose our enemy. Some runes are better against demons, other are good against humans. If we don't know our enemy, there is no way to prepare ourselves!

Bring back the Spectre Pack of Mass Effect 3! In this costly pack we had a very high chance to get 2 High level stuff. The biggest chest of DA:I is purely random and, most of the time, we get low level weapons that give us the feeling we throw gold out the window.

Give us the stats of our characters in the MP mode! We don't know our level in Dexterity, Constitution, HP, MP and so on... Hard to make a build with so lacking informations.

 

I hope I bring some useful advices...

Just forget something : 

Give us the option to disable SFX of the team. When you are playing a CQC character, having a mage in your team give you a hard time once you reach the enemy. With all the fireworks and splendid splashs of light, it is hard to even find your enemy.

Visuals and Appearance :

Dynamic skyboxes - these 2D skyboxes in DAI look really terrible. DAO and DA2 had perfect clear dynamic skies, DAI has static and not good 2D texture - this is a huge downgrade to DA series for me personally.

I'd really like to see a way to import the same appearance as another character of the same race. It would save me the bother of trying to make my character look like myself several times over.

There's a lot of features in 'Dragon's Dogma' that I looove (climbing large foes so you're not just attacking ankles... hair options - oh the hairstyles...), but one that would be so useful in DAI is having companions automatically loot nearby plants, metals, bodies, etc.

^Beat me to it.  I agree with many of the items mentioned in the OP.  But it would be great to have a

 

Qunari alchemist who can create Vitaars from recipes.  

 

Either remove the save game cap or give us some kind of save game manager.

 

Auto targeting on melee combat your attack should aim at whoever you cursor is on without forcing you to lock. Also if you are locked on there needs be a way to cycle targets. I know this was mentioned but I had a thought that left/right dpad could be used to cycle.

 

Add Bard Songs to the soundtrack.

I'd like an in-the-field War Table.

 

Running back/forth to Haven/Skyhold just for WT is a pain. I'd even accept a 5-10% increase in times, if they wanted to penalize us for having to send messengers. Even if it was just at the Keeps we acquire, it would be an improvement. We have Merchants, Requisitions, etc., so it doesn't seem impossible or game/story-breaking. Keeping the major story unlocks only at homebase is fine.

 

It would also be nice to be able to send Morrigan on ops as well, as available Operations seem to increase considerably after Shyhold and WEWH.

No more MMO combat, drop that respawning three enemy/beast encounter. Each enemy looks like the next one being all so tiny, darkspawn looks like a bandit. Not cool. More individual opponents.

 

Drop the giant enemies, I mean: GIANT dwarfs??!! Really, Bioware?? And giant humans?? The bigger the better doesn´t work here, it just makes the game ridiculous. We are not kids.

 

Bring back auto attack, click to point move. Bring back Origins spells and specializations, and the long spell slot bar. Bring back Origins combat mechanics. Bring back attributes, seriously.

 

Less fetch guests, cut like 80% off them and make more detailed and leveled quests with cut scenes and interaction. (Can keep maps, they look nice. not necessary though). No more picking flowers and rock, that needs to be totally optional.

 

No more war table.
