I like a lot of your suggestions. First and foremost, traditional tactics need to make a return.

Secondly, we definitely need an option to mark items as either junk or valuable, and then replace valuables with a sell junk option, it's really weird that you'd have critical items marked as valuable and then be able to sell them en masse.

The concern about mounts is a good point, would be nice to have all your companions on mounts as you travel as well.

Definitely an option to have some helmets in the party display and others be invisible, rather than having one option for the entire party. The ability to set the entire party is a good one to keep it simple when you want them all on or off, but there should be an option on the individual character profiles to set it individually as well.

I feel like there is not much of a choice of good looking female characters.  Might be the same way for males too but I haven't focused on that myself.  Some of the females I wish I could romance are not romanceable.  Such as the female Orlesian First Enchanter (party member, forget her name) and Leliana.  I'm only up to Skyhold so I'm not very far into the game but those are the only two that seem interesting enough and good looking enough for my tastes.  I realize this is more of a subjective thing but it would be nice to be able to modify appearances of some of the characters you can romance.

Indeed, the romance options and surprisingly for human males (which most players are) is fairly limited...

And if you are talking about Fiona, there is a good reason you can't romance her, if you want to know go check out her story in a wiki to see who she really is :) But as for Leliana, if the Hero of Ferelden didn't choose her, yeah she should be romanceable!

The changes I would like to see largely involve getting rid of unnecessary tedious crap to allow the game to be more fun.

I think the changes I'd like would have to wait for a new game, because of how integral all of these things are to how the game works, but here they are:

1.  Less loot.  Remove junk loot from the game completely.  Looting every corpse is a chore and gets in between me and the fun parts of the game.

2.  Scale wayyy back on the resource gathering.  Gathering resources is awful and gets in the way of fun.  Running around searching and stopping to pick flowers and gather rocks is not heroic.  The Inquisitor should have people to do that crap for him/her.  Locating resource "nodes" that produce resources would be better.

3.  Bring back if/then tactics.  I really miss them.

4.  Do something- anything- about the terrain. I haven't seen a game deal with this one well yet, but one thing I absolutely despise about open world games is trying to get from point A to point B and having to run up hills and jump to see if I can make it.  This is frustrating, stupid, and a total waste of time.

I realize that by reducing loot, reducing gathering, and trying to limit travel frustrations, I am probably taking 30 hours out of a single playthrough.  But I'd rather have 30 hours less mundane crap to deal with in order to enjoy the many, many excellent parts about this game.

Good points you bring up.

1.Less loot is understandable. The thing is, I love loot. Others do too, And some others don't, like you. So what I would propose is this. Faster looting (like not having to wait until the character crouches and searches for a second or two until you can see what's in the bag/chest/whatever), first of all. And finally, if you don't want to loot, don't ;)

2.The resource gathering can indeed be a bit tedious, but as mentioned above, faster looting would improve this, maybe showing gathering "spots" on the map when you ping? You can actually already have people "do that crap" for him/her! Just go to the wartable, and send people in the zone you want the material from.

3. I already added this to the list but yes for god's sake, this needs to be brought back in some way.

4. Same thing about the terrain as in 1. You don't like it, some people do. I do think though navigation should be made easier since sometimes I found myself jumping around for 10 minutes until I could climb that little ledge because I kept slipping even though my party was somehow waiting for me up there already. So I would say, maybe just make the terrain less slippery.

Mostly, at the moment, I just wish holding the Left bumper to use the radial menu worked better when switching characters on the Xbox one (don't know if this applies to other systems).  Right now, every time I press down or up on the dpad (the command to switch characters) the game pops me out of the radial menu.  It's kinda annoying, especially since it doesn't do the same thing in the other mode (where you press Left bumper once to enter the radial menu and once to exit).  Kinda an annoying thing when using the radial menu to stop time and give multiple commands.

Glad someone mentioned the terrain issues.

Could I get better maps that show at least the better-used trails?  I'd pay (in-game) for them.

The fog shouldn't be opaque, things that would normally be on a map should be visible in the unexplored areas ...

Ferelden isn't a newly-discovered continent, it has been inhabited for centuries.  The Oasis area was driving me nuts, I finally just left.

For that matter, could I buy climbing gear?

Good points... faster looting would be a huge improvement.  And increase the loot range!   That sounds like a good plan.

For gathering resources, perhaps be able to get more from the War Table if quests are done in the area? Fade Rifts, occupied forts, bandits, that kind of thing. If you try to get resources from the area just by unlocking it you're not going to get much due to the trouble there, but making it safer allows your people to to search safely.

Yes, loot range, forgot about that! Adding it!

Don't stop with just letting us change hair and makeup, just let people custmize their character completely at any point in the game. Dragon Age 2 had it at launch (albeit as DLC) there is absolutely no reason this game shouldn't have it. It would take all of ten minutes to implement, too.

- PC UI should be redesigned for PC to be less console like and more PC

- Tactical Cam on pc changed(need to take out the console cursor controlled with WASD and leave camera movement up to mouse) and greater levels of zoom

- Click to move with mouse. click to move to loot etc

- Being able to distribute attributes on level up

- Tooltips mousing over abilities etc

There's been a fair amount of criticism on the female character design. In short, they're unattractive.

Deeper explanation is they look masculine. Their skin appears too think and their bone structure is boyish.

So, I would like to see an update on their models to make them more feminine.

No.

Pretty much this. Really except for these issues the game is pretty dam good and would get a nine but these issues stop it, so please Bioware fix your PC version.

In regards to the PC version:

I find that the controls are a bit weirdly constructed, specifically the WSDA camera controls in the tactical view. Additionally, the level of zoom is lacking, especially playing as a mage, where the distance of engagement is at quite a high range. It makes it difficult to view the enemies you are attacking and a chore to have to zoom out a little, and attempt to find the enemies you are engaging by trial and error.

The menu controls and UI is also clunky and feels too much like it was designed for console. I realise the game is a port, but this can be improved upon. There is no need to create such large inventory menus where items can get lost. Lastly, comparisons of items are only refreshed on mouse-movement, not item movement. This leaves a situation where if you browse your inventory with the arrow keys or only the mouse wheel, the item comparison is not refreshed.

Lastly, click to loot! I could deal with the other faults, though the zoom level essentially stops me from using the tactical commands very often, the lack of click to loot is incredible! Why will my character not move to the loot location when I click on it? It is rather infuriating and an extreme detriment to the game.

A few suggestions I have from playing on PC:

1) Fix the tac cam so it isn't bound to the terrain. Indoors it's totally useless as it doesn't rise above the ceiling anymore and in tight quarters like forts it's a nightmare to move around when you can't go over things like walls or rocks

2) Include geography in the mini-map. I'm stuck in at least 3 quests at the moment because I can't figure out how to physically get to them. I always find myself running into large rock walls or (in the case of the Storm Coast) the ocean that aren't clear on the world map. It's not fun if I have to spend hours of frustration trying to get somewhere.

3) Bring back the cut scene quest markers from DA2 so I know when there's a new cutscene. It's immersion breaking to have 3 cutscenes play in a row because I forgot to talk to Varric for a while, and tedious to go run around to every companion just to check.

4) Improve lighting in the CC, I've had trouble with makeup/tattoo colors like everyone else.

5) Bring back right click to attack when out of tactical camera. I constantly have to fight in tactical camera whether I want to or not to be able to do any kind of melee combat at all. Also right click to loot needs to come back, if I can see it I should be able to loot it regardless of where I am. And R to attack nearest target was really useful.

6) Greater armor diversity for rouges and mages. Also casual clothing for companions (though judging from Coles joke about Cullen's armor I think they know this).

7) This is just a nit-picky personal thing but Alistair and Hawke both showed up and neither of them were with their love interest or even mentioned them very much--Hawke very barely and in vague terms and Alistair not at all. It's especially noticeable in Hawke's case as she hangs around Skyhold for a time. If we saw a romance through to the very end clearly it holds some sort of importance to us, and I feel that needs to be represented better.

Most of my feedback has already been captured - great work :)

Just a quick one on the search ping.  If they retain this (which they likely will), along the lines of making things clearer, there should be some visual indicator on the ping of the direction of each item detected.  Often I ping, hear the sound that something has been detected, then swing my camera around trying to catch sight of it before the highlight disappears.  It's counterproductive...

They need to separate "valuables" from "research items". I've inadvertently sold a lot of research items because they were in the bucket even the devs said was just stuff for money.

Fewer bears. Seriously, I have exterminated enough bears outside the Forest Villa to depopulate Alaska of the things. You can't have this many large predators in a single are and they are such damage sponges wailing on one, and then the other 2 that wander by, takes a ton of time.

I would love if they made camps u make or the forts you claim also give u a steady supply of resources over time that are in that map. Mainly due to the rewards from the wartable resource ones being so bad.

Also a tactic for setting party members to only attack from flanking positions please.

2 things I'd like added

The ability to compare loot to currently equiped items (and then equip if you like it better)

The ability to use the right dpad to cut to a menu option (like inventory), similar how left dpad goes to map

Access the war room map at camps. It is tedious and annoying to have to return to skyhold every time(and just gives you more loading screens) . Sending a message should be enough for small stuff.

More weapon types, more class variation (a dual wielding warrior perhaps)

apart from that small suggestion,  having great fun
