I am a little confused over how this works.
My mage is Lightning specced and obviously when I use a lightning staff all the attacks are lightning based.
However if I used a cold or fire staff some of my attacks look cold or fire based but not all of them.
I assume these are doing cold and fire damage respectively and wonder how some of my spells can still do lightning damage as the animation seems to suggest.
Secondly is there any disadvantage in using a staff damage type you are not specced in?
Lastly are there spirit damage staffs in game?
