There's just some thing I hope BioWare will ''upgrade'' in the near future.

The hair complex: For some reason. BioWare is unable to do hair properly. The beard complex is strong.

The animation complex: Some of them are good, but a lot of them look badly outdated. They seriously need to think about motion capture. We're in 2014. It's not normal if they sometime still move like puppet. Some of your animation look to have been taken directly from DA:O. Why ?

The fatality complex: So they completely removed it. That suck

The UI and inventory complex: Origin was the best. Sometime less is more.

The Mud complex : They removed mud physic

The mood/color complex ; Dragon age Origin had .. something special there. The graphic are of course much better in Inquisition, but not the atmosphere.

and finally the music .. DA:O had a better soundtrack

Outside of it all. Inquisition is a grandiose game.

I feel the same. I didn't really bought the hype and didn't really research the game much, but I didn't really expected this.

Truly my GOTY.

Wow! People actually like this broken console port abortion of an MMO? Unbelievable.

I really do not get people like you. I read on metacritic and people giving this game a 0, because it is a "console port". Well even if that is true, it is ridiculous to give this game a 0, because the game is not perfectly optimized for PC. I play DA3 on PC with a PS4 controller and love it. You cannot stick to this mentality "Its a console port and the game is ****". Learn to adapt mate and you will love many games out there.

This game.  I love this game so much. :D   Completely dethrones Origins as my favorite RPG.

Only real problems, as some have mentioned, are glitches.  Most of which (that I've noticed, anyway) are minor and don't come anywhere near breaking immersion.  Some are a little more serious, and I really can't wait for them to patch.  But all in all, none of them take away the fact that this is a brilliant, moving, and absolutely glorious work of art.   ^_^   Seriously, kudos Bioware.

There's nothing I 'hate', just constructive criticisms, which is all part of the hobby for me. I totally agree, it did exceed my expectations overall. :)

It is actually so very rare, when the game you're very hyped for, actually delivers and then surpasses even those high expectations. Inquisition is such a game for me.

I've just finished the Winter Palace quest and dear Maker, I was hoping for an opportunity to play The Grand Game since I've read The Masked Empire - and holy hell have BioWare delivered. It has probably just became my favorite story mission in an RPG of all time. Closely beating... "In Your Heart Shall Burn"

Every story quest in this game is just so well written, executed and most of all - memorable.

Im enjoying the game so far, though I am disappointed. The tactical camera is a hassle and Ive now given up on trying to use it, then there are several other issues that might be bugs but are very common and frustrate me to no end. One of them being my characters charging at the enemy even though Ive told them to hold position, this is especially true for my warrior, I plonk him down at a nice choke point and tell him to hold position and then a few seconds later he decides he would rather run off on his own. Theres also the very unreliable pause behavior, sometimes when I switch characters while the game is paused it unpauses sometimes it doesn't.

I am still enjoying the game and Id like to enjoy it more but it feels like I am fighting the friendly AI and game mechanics more than my enemies.

wait.. there are people that hate Da:I ??
what? Leave and go play something else please. Wnough with the hate bioware gets in here.
Me3 hate . check
Da2 hate . check
and  both these games were very very enjoyable to me.
But with Da:I bioware seriously trew the ball out of the park.  Imagine yourself going back to play origins or da2. You cannot.
Hell, as far as i have played Da:I is the most immersive game i have EVER played in my gaming carreer.
Sure there are problems like a mediocre inventory screen but there are other values in this game that completelty negate the things it does bad.

I'll have to disagree with the soundtrack. This was the best DA soundtrack to date. Don't get me wrong i loved the soundtrack in Origins. But it's a matter of personal taste though. Love both OST though.

53 hours in and have visited a several areas now.  The high point everyone talks about that happens after you leave the Hinterlands and advance the story a bit really knocked it out of the park.  I had over 30 hours in when it happened and now I feel like all of that was just prologue.  The last bit nearly brought me to tears (and I never cry).  Wow.  So much to see and do.  I'm normally a completionist but this game is so big I'm bound to miss things to find on another play through.

Took me a while to really get the hang of crafting but now I waste a ton of time just creating and modifying my gear.  Just took my first keep and that was awesome, haven't fought a dragon yet (but planning on it soon).  Giants are fun. PC controls took a little getting used to but I feel comfortable with them now and I can pop in and out of tactical camera with ease to control tougher fights.  Tac cam does feel a little odd at times but if you pop in and out it does the job.   Only a few crashes - usually in menus when I scroll quickly through them - seems to be a Direct X 11 bad command problem from the pop up I get on my computer.  Slowing down in menus seems to prevent this.  Occasional dialog freezes but nothing serious (has happened maybe 5-6 times in 50+ hours of play).  I do wish tactics worked a little more like they did in the previous to games, the conditionals were nice (no Blackwall, I'm fine on the roof with the archers, go fight the guy with the shield like I told you to!). The only other thing I would like to see is a party storage chest (just because I like to hoard the unique weapons rather than selling them), but that is really minor.

Overall, just overwhelmed by the amazing world and the depth of play.  This game delivers more than I ever thought it could. Every time I think I have seen all that it can offer I find more.   It invites roleplay in so many ways from companion and NPC interactions to judgements to picking missions on the war table.  I feel like each character I build will be more unique than I have ever been able to manage outside of a tabletop RPG because of all the options I have to chose their path and interactions.  So many of my Wardens ended up fairly similar, I don't think that will happen in Inquisition.

I will be more than happy to throw my money at Bioware for DLC when it comes out (although I don't know that I will really need additional content for a VERY long time due to the tremendous scope of the game).

TBH i'm not hyped. But the game is awesome for me. However, there are few areas i'm a little disappointed in. Particularly NPCs character. They don't look so good or i would say bad.

I am so there with you.

BW, and EA (give em the nod, cant hurt), have done a crackerjack job of making this game.

Currently on 82 hours taking my time, finishing some quests and not others depending on my mood.

Favorite places so far, hissing flats? Completely epic.

Biggest thrill, first dragon fight.

favorite character: Selas. Together with Iron Bull, they are histerical.

Current character dalish elven female, I have been working on Solas, and Seras gives me guff says we're bumping naughty bits when he is in the same party.

Great great writing, bawdy, crude, inspired, sensitive and in the case of Mother Giselle singing Dawn Will Come, sublime.

Thank you.

It's matched my expectations.  They were high, so that's a good thing.  Some mechanics and the writing has excelled, whereas some other mechanics and bugs have disappointed.  But it evens out.

Eh, the fact that you need to mod Skyrim "up and down" for it to be ahead of DA: I would suggest that inherently it's not as good of a game as Inquisition, wouldn't it?

Ditto. Also, "Skyrim modded" still isn't anywhere near Inquisition. Whilst there's gameplay enhancing mods for Skyrim, the combat remains fundamentally the same (slash, block, rinse repeat) whereas all the abilities and encounters of Inquisition are leagues above the gameplay Skyrim offers.

If anyone wants to talk about story and characters then even Dragon Age 2 had better characters than any NPC from any Bethesda game (which says something considering it's DA2 we're talking about here) so let's not even go there...

PC mustard race.

The game plays flawlessly on PS4. That's the benefit of owning both a console and PC, you can buy games not made for PC in mind on console for the best gameplay and since Inquisition isn't moddable, the PC version doesn't even have a step above the console version here.

PC version isn't bad anyway.  I've been having a blast on it, with only one annoying bug in 15-20 hours of playtime.
