I have yet to start the game (probably somewhere in the next month) and while I haven't played the previous installments, I'm so excited to get to know the Dragon Age world. I have a few concerns about the controls and performance, but all these positive comments seriously outweigh those. Can't wait..!
I was SO hyped up. Yet, the game is even better than expected...

I've now played 35 hours of this game, and I sat back to evaluate what I thought. Aside from bugs, was there anything I wasn't satisfied with? The ONLY thing I could think of was the lack of tactics a la DA:O. Everything else has been great!
If I was to rate the game on metacritic now (I won't, I always finish playing a game before rating) I'd have a difficult time choosing between 9 and 10. If it wasn't for the numerous bugs, I'd say 10 would take it. I've only ever rated a game a perfect 10 four times: The Witcher 2 (which was generous; would have given it a 9.5), Diablo 3 (post-Reaper of Souls), Starcraft 2:WoL and the Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC.

also glad to see so many positive responses from fans it seems apart from a few haters and some trolls the game is being well received as it should be

I'm finding myself constantly amazed (and maybe overwhelmed) every time I open up a new area. I keep thinking I'm nearing the end of my crusade, and find out I've got so much left to do. I'm also really excited about experiencing everything differently next playthrough because of the keep.

I have some critiques of DA:I, but that goes for just about any game. The only real thing I would like to see added is tactics. This definitely feels like a much more worthy successor to Origins then the second game did!!

I agree OP Inquisition is a great game however, I hope Bioware really buckles down and squashes some of these bugs. Especially the auto save crashing. I lost hours of gameplay when I first started playing. Now with that said, once I disabled all the options too connect and share data with EA it seems too have become rather rare lol.
