OK...a prob with my M-Shep.

After a try where I was sure, that I didn't made any romance-option and was just neutral/nice, Ashley once again wanted love...with no option for me to negate.

For my main-walkthrough I wanted to romance her, but since ME2 offers so interesting options, I'd like to have her alive after Virmire but not romanced.

Can someone tell me, what to do as a paragon, to have no romance at all?

With my fem-shep it was no problem...never liked Kaidan, so nukeing him was easy.

Don't talk to her.

Or do Liara as well, and choose her when the issue comes up.

Mhhhh...is there a point, to where I can talk to Ash without her appearing at Shepards locker?
I've got a Savegame right before she talks with her sister, where I finished the DLC and most of the sidequests.
Or do I have to start again?

Only thing is I don't want any romance so my Paragon doesn't have to cheat on a ME1-LI.

There's fairly easy way of doing this. What happened with me was something like this:

(This is not right after completing Therum, but I completed another planet after that. Make sure you talk to Liara first.)

Ashley: "Hey Commander, I thought you'd be talking to Dr. T'Soni."

Shep: "Liara? Why would you think that?"

Ashley: (Ashley says something here, I can't remember what)"

Shep: "So you think I'm interested in Liara because she's the only one I can date?"

Ashley: "That's not what I meant. It's just... I thought we were getting along pretty well."

Shep: (I'm pretty sure this was the renegade option, but Shep was still nice about it) "Perhaps better than a commanding officer and one of his subordinates should."

You can then apologize for giving her the wrong impression.

Anyways, that's the nicest way of letting her down I've found.

Also, you can then go talk to Liara and reject her right afterwards.

Cant you just "flirt" with both ash and liara, then when the three way conversation come up, reject them both?

Remind her of protocol, nothing renegade about that, and she'll fall in line. As for Liara, tell her you're not interested in aliens and she'll understand. If you keep hitting neutral or paragon with either of them they'll take it as a sign of affection.

Gotta put your foot down at some point.

Is there any way to do this?
I'm currently stuck at an impasse; the duo keep coming up and trying to make me choose and I want NEITHER but there doesn't seem to be a way to reject both.

I had to Virmire her. *Puts on his best Colonial Marine impersonation* It's the only way to be sure.

+1 I try to be nice, but the character takes advantage of that => she's gonna be Virmired ;)

tried this an Ash's picture is still on my desk in ME2... So I think it's near impossible to be nice and tell her off.... I just finally gave up lol

Since this type of question seems to pop up a lot...

There aren't really Paragon/Renegade points for any of the romantic interactions. In fact, I don't believe there are any Paragon/Renegade type interactions with your crew. Your answers seem designed to define your relationships with the crew, not be Paragon/Renegade.
