I've noticed that the chapel in the back with a statue of Andraste actually has people in it now.

Aside from the (seemingly nonexistent) gold (Montilyet must be doing something with it), I'd have thought with the Chantry upgrade they'd have at least dusted up the cobwebs and picked up all the rusty bits of what looks like broken wrought iron lighting parts that are strewn about all over the little chantry garden chapel. All I could see as different were a couple of nobby statues, a war table mission that gave me jack squat, and the above mentioned infestation of chattering Chantry sisters.

I thought it was rather obvious that the chantry thing was all just cosmetic and that you wouldn't get a real in game bonus.

In the War Table wiki (found here: http://dragonage3.wi...e.com/War Table) there is a War Table mission listed called "Tithe of the Faithful" that only becomes available after unlocking the Chantry Garden upgrade.  I suspect that is how you collect your tithes from the garden.  Takes 60 minutes to complete (less with agents, of course).  Not at all sure how much you get from it or if it is repeatable (but I imagine that it would be).

I did unlock the Chantry Garden just long enough to give it a look-see before reverting to a previous save and noted that another War Table mission immediately popped called "The Archives of Montifort".  The wiki lists it and another called "Eyes of the Maker" as being available only after choosing the Chantry upgrade.

I chose the Chantry upgrade without knowing what exactly would happen as a result. The war table ops you list here sound like they'd be right for fulfilling the description of the upgrade, but I got only one of the three ops: Tithe of the Faithful and The Archives of Montifort never showed up. I'm assuming that's a bug.

Anyone else run into this?

I didn't even get Tithe of the Faithful.

Sorry, I should have been more clear: I didn't get Tithe of the Faithful or The Archives of Montifort. I did get Eyes of the Maker. So it sounds like we're in the same boat.

Bummer. I keep hitting new bugs every day...

I honestly regard it as an RP choice.

But I do find the garden useful for upgrading potions.

What my garden lacks is a BBQ. A few snags, potato salad and coleslaw, plus of course maybe some specialist home brews would make for a perfect way to end a day of hunting Venatori, closing rifts and killing the odd Darkspawn. Now, that's a true garden of reflection.

It's probably a bug.  My guess is the well is supposed to be the repository for gold collection.  Upon selecting the Chantry, the note on the well was interactable.  When I selected it, no text appeared, and it ceased to be clickable.

It does say "a potential resource gain" for the chantry garden upgrade.
