Ok first of all I HAD a previous account on this site but I hadnt used it in a year or two (I only made a couple of posts on it) and now I dont know the password or the account name, however THAT account is tied to the email address that I use for my steam account. 

I recently made this bioware account a few minutes ago but its under my hotmail account and while registering I went to check out the "redeem code" page and it said something like "WARNING! redeeming a code will use it permanently; make sure you are logged in to this site with the same email address that you are using for your in-game account!".  My steam/in game account would be my yahoo account not the hotmail one.

If I used a Cerberus network code thing or a code for one of the preorder weapons on THIS account (which is tied to my hotmail account), would it still transfer the bonus stuff to my steam/ME2 in game profile?  

If any mods read this could you help me out by looking for an account under the email address halo_xe@yahoo.ca? and PM me the account name and password?

To recover your password go to https://profile.ea.com/login.do.



You can then login here with the email address and password (don't need to know the account name).



However what is important is what email you use when you log in from the game (what email Steam has for you doesn't matter), as long as you are consistent and always use the same email and redeem all content from account using the same emal.

i think your ME2 profile is completely seperate.. i'd just wait until you can launch the game to see if you can log in to cerberus with this account / email, before you go and redeem any codes or anything.
