Any former NWN/2 builders have projects needing help?

I'm interested in joinging a group stand-alone, single-player module project, and ideally, would like to work with folks I'm familiar with from NWN and NWN2, only because I hate joining projects that ultimately "wither on the vine" and since I'm familiar with a lot of the NWN/2 folks, I can get a pretty good idea of their level of commitment and past work.

Ideally, I'm interested in a project using the DAO setting, and not a conversion of some other gaming world (i.e. D&D, steampunk,. etc.), a remake (i.e., Baldur's Gate) or an original universe.

Regarding what I can bring to the table, I've made several single player modules for NWN & NWN2, and was a member of the original CEP project.  I've only began tinkering with the DAO Toolset, and acknowledge I've got a way to go before I'll be proficient with it.

Anyhow, I realize I'm being picky, but if anyone is looking for a little help, I may be able to pitch in.  Just let me know with a post, or a PM, or whatever.

Thanks!

Hi I could use a little help - not much currently but still. Im still using the NWN2 tool set - since the DAO still needs a lot, lot, lot and even more polish before I will use it.

I'm definitely finding the DAO Toolset rather daunting in comparison to NWN & NWN2, but I'm going to keep working with it till I get a better handle on it.  It does seem like it has a lot of potential . . .

(I'm kinda burned out on the NWN2 Toolset for now, but may go back to it after a while).

Odd; I think the DA:O toolset is more polished now than the NWN2 toolset was when it was released. The biggest thing it's got going against it is the random database connection failure issue (or the total failure to connect for some users). Most everything else works, once you know how to do it.

That's been the tricky part for me, so far Posted Image

(But I agree that NWN2 Toolset had more bugs--it just seemed a little easier learning curve between NWN1 and NWN2 when compared to DAO for me so far).
