So, this are the last days im trying to gather some information before the release of the game, and i guess this will be my final question:).
What im trying to know is if it's true that the english voiceover of the game will be downloadable as a DLC from xbox live.
Is there no way to confirm this ?

I've been bugging BioWare about this on several channels. They won't answer over Twitter, Facebook or mail. Maybe 'll try the last thing again, now that I have an EA account.

Fortunatly I don't need it on release day since I have to prepare for some exams but it will still decide wether I cancel my Pre-Order or not.

To be honest, I'm surprised nobody of the staff reads this Forum here. This is quite an important issue. That they added it on the PC-Version must mean that they know people want this. I'm really surprised that they deliver some info on this.

I'm guessing this is for copies of the game sold in non-native speaking english countries?

You're guessing right. Otherwise we wouldn't need it, now would we? :)

Seriously: German voice overs suck. And it seems so they do in Italy.

German voiceovers make your ears bleed - that's why I went for the UK version.

I like supporting local stores. That's why I don't order a lot online but prefer buying games directly.

Still nothing. No answer whatsoever over no channel. Amazon.uk here I come.

Altough then I still don't know if the Cerberus code will work. X(

So I got an answer from EA, but it didn't really contain much information. I was told that I should have made sure to get the English version if I wanted it. My question regarding a possible DLC was not answered. I already wrote them back but I think I'll have to order mine online and hope the Cerberus Code will work.

I have a Dutch copy of Mass Effect 2, live in Germany (with a German xboxlive account), and have the British nationality. To clear some things up. The Ceberus Code will work as did mine. I am still not sure which language the DLC is in though. While in the Ceberus network you can choose the DLC you want to download. Zaeed, Normandy crash site, etc. These are displayed in English. But as soon as you select one of them, and the download menu comes up, the name of the DLC is now suddenly displayed in the German language. Ex: Normandy crash site DLC is now called: Absturzstelle der Normandy. Unfortunately i have not been to see Zaeed or gone to the crash site yet. Once i have been there I'll post back my findings.
