Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I've just unlocked champions of the just and have also visited Redcliffe but haven't gone to the tavern yet.
Can I visit and talk to both sides before deciding and maybe do a few quests for both?
Also is there a definite point where I have to choose like at the war table or something?

You can do the part of "In Hushed Whispers" before Redcliffe Castle without deciding. Once you spend the power to go to the castle or do Champions of the Just, you're locked in.
