I feel like I'm bogged down by gear and upgrades, I have all this room in Skyhold and no where to put something. Having a chest or area would be a nice way to store items. One could put a chest for upgrades in the undercroft so it's right where you need it, the same could be used for crafting items.

 

One thing that bothers me though is getting rid of unique weapons and armor, even if it's not as good as to what I have now it's still 'special'. Maybe have an display armory to show off the unique gear you've collected in your travels?

Yes, please, 1000 times YES, even that now empty loot chest in the Undercroft would do fine, it's a wasted decoration right now.

It would be nice to have a place to store things.  And I always enjoyed displaying armor and weapons in my Skyrim houses.
