Haven't been following dev statements so I just wanted to see if anything has been stated in that regard.
My followers have had a total of 2-3 banter conversations in 45 hours and I've tried everything I can to get to get them to talk. Many are reporting loads of banter whilst others are in my boat so obviously it's a glitch. Makes me want to stop playing until the first patch in the hopes it's addressed. :/
Do we happen to know when the first PS4 patch will be ready?

If you spend the vast majority of those 45 hours at the Hinterlands, that's your problem right there.
Otherwise, I have no idea.

No. I'm in the second act and I've been plenty of places and done several story missions. I appreciate the suggestion but I'm not looking for tips; I've exhausted efforts, heh. I know it's a glitch, it just has to be. I take everyone along, I fight, I don't fight, I stand in place, I stare motionlessly, I teleport about, I wander, I everything. But other players have banter constantly. Sooo yeah.
Just gotta hope it's addressed. Ergo, I was wondering if there is an ETA.

Strange. I've had plenty of banter, in the Hinterlands and elsewhere, and I'm on PS4.

Yeah. I've seen that expressed in several threads since I started researching it. Seems a relatively rare thing for PS4. Which is great and all, except it worries me that it won't be fixed for those few PS4 players afflicted with it!

Got a reply from Mr. Epler saying it wouldn't be platform-specific but rather it sounds like a general scripting issue. So that answers why it seems to be spread across multiple platforms, at least.

Do people really want rushed patches that protentially cause more problems than they solve if not done and tested properly?

I wouldn't know. What I do know is what was stated: I don't want to continue playing and reach the end without this having been resolved and thus missing some of the beautifully written script if it can be avoided, hence I was curious if anything concrete had been stated with regard to a timeframe.
