You don't unzip them, there's a forum post here somehwere where it says that the file might be downloaded as a zip file instead of a dazip file, all u have to do is rename the .zip to .dazip and then it should work. Never ever unzip it yourself, that forum said

That is between you and your browser.

To download them try right clicking on the link and selecting "Save Target As" which should bring up a dialog that will allow you to chose a place to save the zip file too. Be aware, in IE 7 when I try and save the .dazip files it wants to save them as .zip files. You can either let it do that and rename it afterwards, or switch the drop down at the bottom of the dialog from .zip files to all files and then change the name in the download box to .dazip.

I had all the content downloaded and installed/working prior to patch 1.01.

I
patched the game up to 1.01 and experienced the problem with getting
the game to start. At that point noone had any post with
troubleshooting information to simply update your C++ or whatever from
microsoft.

Well I reinstalled my game and low and behold it
deleted my downloaded content. No big deal I installed 1.01 again and
figured I would simply redownload the content since I had no issues
with it the first time around.

So now when I try to download the
content I am repeatedly getting the Download Fail message. I have tried
all the troubleshooting offered in the User Tech Support area with no
avail. At this point I even uninstalled and went back to 1.00 hoping
the patched game was the problem - no dice.

So now I am at a
loss and simply can not use the downloaded I was offered with the game that I purchased. Not to mention with the
repeated uninstalls I now have to unlock all of my class
specializations again.

My previous saved games are unplayabble
unless I force a load and lose the previous powers/items I paid for. I
have spent probably around 6 hours trying to fix this issue and can get
no response from their support team.

I haven't even played the game through once and I am already regretting this purchase.

Hi Yeats, when you say you've tried all the troubleshooting I'm assuming you've looked at the Redeemed DLC Unofficial Troubleshooting and FAQ?

Have you tried manually download and installing the DLC. Links and instructions for that are in Section 4 of the FAQ. Even if that doesn't work, the error messages you get are often helpful in figuring out what the underlying problem is.

I think the problem...stupid as it is, is that if you look at the requirements for the stone prisoner DLC it show game version required as 1.0 and it is in red. Maybe the idiots didnt put in the DLC patched installer for StPr DLC thats why the install without internet, then patch would work...all I have to say is EA ya'll are morons...Bioware cant you guys get a better partner, PLEASE!? they help and make some good games but honestly their tech support is a none existent loop of trash and they have so many problems the only reason that they still exist is cause they latch onto great companies like bioware...

P.S.
My problem is even more interesting, when I go to installed DLC even though it says it failed to install, it shows it installed and enabled...uber charge failure...
