I was using Sera for almost the whole game, than I went see how was Varric spec-tree and realize that even he using a 89 dps Bianca, he did over 100 more damage on basic attack than Sera with a 95 dps bow. I dont think that the minor upgrades for each can do more than 100 of damage.

 

The stats of Varric are so different as looks?

Someone has any tip for make my Sera as much good as Varric? I liked her, and I want to use her.

Try upgrading her bow with masterwork pieces make sure she has good runes. Bianca gets upgraded whenever you find it's pieces like da2. Keep her gear in top form with crafting.

unfortunately, tempest is a vastly superior spec than artificer.

In my experience, Sera is better. Artificier is a poor spec, Tempest however is really powerful (double Full Draw? Yes please). Bianca is easier to upgrade as the game goes on (tip, merchants in Haven or Skyhold sell all its related upgrades) but doesn't compare to the more powerful bows.

varrics specialization is by far the worst for a archer.

For some reason, my Varric is constantly receiving Amulets of Power (+1 ability point) from loot, quests and war table. By now my level 13 Varric has 17 ability points. All my other companions have only received a max of 1 Amulet of Power. It's really not fair.
