I think that depends on the graphics settings. Like on medium or lower the scars don't show up. I haven't tested it myself (playing ultra), but that's what I've heard. Try increasing the texture settings or something and the scars may appear.

Thanks for the tip, but I have everything on Best. Still no scars except the ones I inflicted on my own pc. This thread is proving to be of great consolation, though.

I don't like extreme ugly because after awhile you get tired of them, plain/"basic" ugly are playable to the end:

Plain Jane/Plain Joe types are actually really interesting to roleplay, and can be more difficult to create than an "attractive" Quizzie.  Well done on this.
