That shard in the Hinterlands isn't unreachable, just requires some really annoying jumping to reach it...

You can get that one.

 

You have to carefully jump & walk around the rock ledges without failing to work your way to the top. I got the Inquisitor stuck between the cliff and a ledge on the first attempt, but got Vivienne up after switching characters.

I have seen some floating items but from the angle of your ss it looks like you are looking towards a cave entrance and astro device which are reachable.

Ok i have been trying to get this shard for some time. i am on PC controls and I still can not seem to get to it.

Fine unless this one is a bug, then I'll have to wait till my college sons get home for Thanksgiving and bribe them to get this shard for me(The completionist I am requires it to be done).

You can reach it. Approach it from the front (from where you enter the area). Mange to jump up some small rocks, the a bit ot the left you manage to go even upwards. Then go to the right (just so you get a bit more height) so you're able to jump to the higher rocks ot the left. Then you have to jump over a gap to some rocks ot the left (good luck not landing and then walking off). Then look a bit to your right and jump upwards. From there's just walk/jump upwards to get to the shard.

No, it's not easy, it took me around what? 20 mins or so? At some point it became personal. It's really bad designed tbh, the jumping is cool, having to jump over some obstacles is fine, but they are clearly not prepared to design jumping sections like that.

It's horrible, specially because if the inquisitor or any character just used his arms they could go up without even jumping.

My problem is all the resource nodes stuck completely underground.

Did anyone manage to walk across the "balance beam" wooden post in the corner of Hinterlands, where Anais is, inside the small keep/castle? It infuriates me because there's a dead body to loot high up in the air on a narrow wooden post which I keep falling off of.

 

Another area in Redcliffe, near the Chantry, where there is a sack/bag to loot high on top of a wall which I cannot get from any angle (near Tanner).

 

I knew this would happen when I found out they added jumping to the game. Now, they make some loot extremely difficult to get, just to mess with us. Shame on you Bioware. This game is not about being able to jump well in order to get loot or finish a quest!
