The game should be should be selling better than most on PC, due to its unbreakable Denuvo anti-tampering software.

For reference, 2 out of the 3 other games using Denuvo are completely uncracked long after their release. I believe FIFA 15 remains uncracked after almost 2 months. Although I believe cracking is still inevitable, gaining 1-2 months of piracy free launch should boost sales immensely.

One has been cracked? Which one? I haven't heard about that.

i hope it is selling well.

but im surprise a remake of GTA V on the PS4 is actually selling better than this game on Amazon.

GTA V is a great game but it is a remake of a barely an year old game so i really don't see why it should be selling better.

Feel kind of sad for Bioware.

I'm not. Dragon Age though it is made by a very well known company is still appealing to a smaller crowd than games like Call of Cooties and GTA. I really hope it's selling well though, and I believe it is.

Based on what exactly? 20/30 threads saying people want a refund. I'm sure bioware are quivering in their boots.

Yes that post made me laugh... You learn so much about people just by hearing them speak... Hilarious

BioWare isn't going anywhere and they are only gaining traction with this release.

People and their sense of entitlement... smh.

If people want to take the game back and get a refund, they can take it back and get a refund, but nowhere does that mean the masses are taking their game back to get a refund... lol if that was the case, there would be a media report on something that massively dissapointing...

Last I checked, I've been hearing mostly great things about it...

I'm not surprised GTA and AC outsold it. RPGs just don't sell as well as these types of games. Didn't DAO sell 2million + copies? And that's considered a hit.

Where does it say that Assassin's Creed outsold DA:I?

Considering sales figures have yet to be released, that claim is unsubstantiated.

I obviously want this game to sell well so we can see further installments. This is Bioware's first big game, obviously there'll be a learning curve. DAI is really fun so far and very addicting. Imagine how much better their next installment will be.
Any news on sale figures? I want this franchise to keep going. It'd be a shame if EA dissolved this franchise.

Here are the UK charts for last week...

[source]

If it's any indications of how it's doing in the US (most important market), not particularly good. Might not be that bad either if the top spots are close together. Though, being beaten by FIFA which is out for two months now... i know soccer is popular here in Europe but still...

It's completely normal. Three of the games above are shooters, which always sell like hot potatoes, and not just any shooters either; GTA and Call of Duty are amongst the biggest video game franchises in history, I'm actually surprised Advanced Warfare is third. FIFA is also very, very big in Europe. Compared to that, a (mostly) single-player RPG is niche at best so long as it's not Skyrim.

The fact that it's above Unity is good. I mean that game flopped a bit for an AC game probably, but that franchise is still much bigger than Dragon Age.

Everyone i know bar a couple people has got a refund, not a big sample size admittedly but pretty telling considering how fanatically my circle of friends follow RPG's. I really really hope most PC players have done the same. The only way to speak to corporations is through the wallet.

Why would I want a refund on one of the greatest RPG's I've ever played in my life? And yes on a PC.

I've had zero problems so far.

I would guess the game is selling very well and will make a HUGE profit. Anyway, the OP should post this as an update to his outdated numbers.

Same here. A couple of graphical glitches, but nothing substantial. I'm also getting used to the tac cam, and I love everything else (story, characters, exploration). Fantastic game on my PC, and it will be loaded on to my SSD for some considerable time to come :)

The DAI thread over on NeoGAF is very positive about the game - hopefully good word of mouth from those of us who are enjoying DAI plus solid support from Bioware in terms of patches will help give this game legs. It deserves them, imo x

I don't know how people are reacting to the game - only hanging here and on my spoiler free dash - but IMO this game is lovely. I'm aware there aren't many main quests, I'm aware the combat/gameplay could've been better as could performance on pc, but despite all these flaws I love DAI.

Way more than I thought I would.

Bioware charmed me again and for that I wish them a huge success.

I can only imagine how well its selling on the ps4 and xbone.

Everybody at Bioware must be ecstatic over the sales figures B)

I have to say, I'd love if this sold extremely well.  I want more games that do what Inquisition is doing.  I doubt it'll sell much better than DA2 or Origins, but man oh man wouldn't it be lovely.
