Some of us want to use more than 8 abilities, especially mages. On Xbox One and other consoles, you're limited to what you have mapped to the controller. Some non-KE mages have a variety of skills that are worth taking, plus the focus abilities.
Please add an icon in the radial menu to let is selected any ability since they can't be remapped during combat.
Suggestion: Add icon on radial menu for abilities (console)

i think even the pc version is limited to 8 hotkeys as well

Completely agree, i thought that they would have gave us more this time round, i mean there are heaps of skill trees to chose from now, the inquisiter and then the other special trees and the standard ones. 8 is not enough.
I would prefer though that while holding L2 you could then click L1 to go to the next say 4 so you have 12 abilities without needing to go in to a radial menu
