Currently,

I am running pure winter build Mage.

My question, if I use a staff that shoots ice, being that I am a pure ice Mage, is there some form of uniformity stat boost?

Does it matter if you are pure ice Mage, but use a fire staff? (Would staff lose strength? Because I am ice mage not Fire)

I don't believe it makes a difference. You should be using whatever staff has the highest DPS, since it seems everything scales of that.

The only thing to consider when looking at the element associated with a staff is the strengths and weaknesses of the enemies you're fighting. Other than that, everything is based off of weapon-damage.
