Does this effect anything negative? I noticed a couple of my characters getting tarot changes that look, evil or depressing. Varric's and Ironbulls being the biggest ones for me. I understand what happens, but is this a flag saying im going to lose them?

I think it shows how you dealt with them during their personal quest or something, because the changes always happened after or even before completing it
For me Varric's card turned into the dark one when I started his personal quest, and after I finished it I had the good card
