Hello guys ! I'm playing Dragon Age: Inquisition since it came out, and so far I have spotted some bugs which make the gameplay much more annoying and less pleasant. Nevertheless, I still think the game is amazing :3
So, to begin with some bugs I've spotted overall while playing multiplayer.
- Urns with gold sometimes don't get destroyed after getting attack. In some cases it's enough to just move slightly further backwards / forward and hit it again to destroy it, but unfortunately sometimes it seems that the urn have stolen Superman's power and is now indestructible.
- The captain we are meant to save is way too weak in high difficulty mission. Multiple times I simply didn't even had a chance to protect him because some monsters just one shot him. Especially the Red Lyrium Templar with two blades instead of hands, in 90% of cases when I'm playing a map in which you can encounter him he is the one who kills the Captain by just backstabbing him.
- Multiple characters talking at once. Usually (I'm a big fan of that) characters either just say something or have a little conversation with each other, although sometimes when you open the door to the next stage, some (sometimes all) characters are talking at once, which makes it particular hard to understand.
- This one is not really a bug, but a thing I find very pointless while playing multiplayer games. Once you save the captain, he tries to help to fight rather than head to exit straight away. I don't get why. He is extremely weak and squishy additionally. I could understand if the exit would be further deep in the stage, but usually he fights with you until somewhere near finish of the stage you've met him and then walks all the way back to the exit. What is the point of that if as I said he could head there straight away ?
I didn't play many characters so far, but I did play Katari awful loads through those 3 days. I've encountered some bugs while playing him too.
- The hook. I've basically wasted 2 points by putting them onto hook ability since it's awfully bugged ;( The hook works only on melee targets (quite pointless, don't you think ?). Whenever I am trying to hook an archer, a mage or anything that attack from the distance, I throw the hook at it, it pulls it to me and immediately teleports it back to the spot I was trying to hook that certain unit from. It's very annoying since imo the idea of this spells is to hook ranged enemies and deal with them quickly, while right now it's impossible to hook ranged target and I waste time which could save me from couple of hits while casting the kick animation.
- Charge. I am not sure exactly how this works since it don't happens often, and I'd like to state straight away that I don't press anything, it happens on its own. Basically, sometimes the charge stops itself before hitting a target. So far it only happened to me couple of times while fighting only one enemy. It's pretty annoying since in many cases I am trying to use charge to avoid getting attacked and this bug makes it impossible.
Also, some suggestions for the future.
- Make Captain more tanky in higher difficulties.
- Add some kind of an exit he could use once we get to a moment when we have to say "bye" to our powerful companion rather than just run all the way back which is completely pointless.
- Possibly, in future if you will have some time spare, since I do kind of realize that it's not that easy to add stuff to the game, you could allow us to change facial features and possible voices of our multiplayer characters. This would add more immersion into the game as the same class character we encounter wouldn't be basically our twin.
- Double xp / Better drop chance weekends ? There always seem to attract players.
- Repair matchmaking system, I quite often start a game with host from god knows where, and despite I'm not a mage, I constantly teleport.
