Has anyone done this yet? I can't find the key to the balcony doors. There's no marker for the key and I've been running the upper ledges of the top floor to no avail.
P.S. I found the answer. Get all the drawings in the chateau because they provide the clues. To make easier for my fellow players... 
Where are the drawings I'm kinda completely stuck?
You have too loot everything. It's in papers and books scattered around the house, at least the first one is. From then on each clue leads to the next which in the end leads to the key.
You actually have to run through the area several times. I found out that an area I already explored started pinging when I ran into it again. The quest items have to be found in a specific rigid order.
I cant click the paintings in chateau.. gold hand is up but nothing happens.. on all paintings thought someone said to click them and read
completed. didnt matter when i picked up the items i just had to redo the bit by dragon hanging up rather it reappeared as a search item after I did it already.. went found the other one then came back it again became searchable to lift the tail
for the life of me i can not get past this and i have 2 drawings and killed everything and looted everything now its just leveling me up on the undead that keep spawning and for the life me i read all the paintings and i am mage so i cant see how to get to the key at all i looked at the head and such and still nothing to activate

The radar is getting that yellow "search here" glow and leads to a picture you can push to the side, there's a note behind it showing a dragon and a lions head. Go to the room with the giant dragon hanging from the ceiling and use the search function again, one of the lion heads has a button under it. Push it, grab the note and key from the dragons tail.

This is driving me crazy.
I have the 2 drawings, the Courtyard, and the Interior.
I still can't find the key, in the upper ballroom on the balcony I've run around and around.
I know it's supposed to be in the lion head near the door, but it never becomes active no matter how many times I push the V or F keys.
Here's a twist, I found the second drawing in on of the heads at the other end of the balcony from where the door is, not in the bedroom.
Anyone know what's going on?

i found 3 drawings but I can´t find the drawing with the dragon.
I have the drawing with the courtyard and the dove. I think I found the item on that one. Then I have a drawing with a diabolical guy and another drawing with two knights with swords standing away from each other and a helmeted head above them...
The game does give you quest markers for all essential locations in the haunted house. Just follow these and ping around.
Once you have the sketches - this requires hopping out the window in the bedrooms hallway - go face the dragon and search. Watch for his tail.
