Out of the all the songs the bards sing in Inquisition, which is your favourite?

For me, it has to be Empress of Fire! (I think my game glitched at one point and I got an Instrumental version, which was awesome)

Also I loved that the bard in the Val Royeaux café sang the songs in french.

Yeah, it would've been awesome to get a few more like that. Maybe more songs in Elvish, although I imagine that would've been heaps difficult.

 

Although they've had Elven songs in the last two games.

They all sound good to me.

 

But "Sera was Never" is such a random and ridiculous touch to her character. Still haven't made up my mind about her.

Songs aside I hate the bard that sings them. For all the effort Bioware has put to subtly having characters speak in verse they completely failed to hide that she is and it drives me nuts. I can't stand how blatant her emphases are and how much she hams it up. It's Child of Light bad.

I really like 'Empress of Fire' and 'Sera Was Never' though the former just tips the latter because whenever I hear the 'Orlais Theme' out in the wilds I can't help but start singing the lyrics to 'Empress of Fire' due to the theme being instrumental version of it.

 

I also like 'I Am The One' for nostalgic reasons although I prefer the original elven version of it.

The Orlesian (French) version of Empress of Fire that you hear in Val Royeux would probably be my runner up. 

 

The instrumental versions of some of the songs aren't glitches by the way. At least a couple of them have instrumental versions in the rotation.

sera was a never for me....  somewhere i either saw it in a note from sera or heard it from sera, but she says she thinks the bard is flirting with her....  this was right after i heard it too, laughed my ass off

Sera was never... While romancing her, at different times in the Skyhold tavern I heard both an instrumental and an a cappella version of it that were both equally as awesome as the full version. Bio, please include a minstrel in all future games, if possible.

SERA WAS NEVER. I swear to you I can't leave the tavern before that song ends. I'm often listening to it outside of the game too. I like Nightingale's Eyes a lot as well.
