It is an absolute buggy mess, and it's like they didn't test it at all. So to the people still thinking of buying it for last gen, don't bother.

The more I play, the more bugs I see. If the story wasn't so great I would be more angry. But I agree, if people have a next-gen console or are planning on getting one, don't but it for last-gen.

The bugs I've been getting seem to be not necessarily platform-related. (Missing Belle, etc).

 

My 360 has frozen...probably once every couple of days. But like I understand heavy loading, etc. (Does that with Skyrim too). I'm just careful now about constant saving

I'm playing on 360 and there is some minor bugginess, but this game is so good! Definitely do play it on last gen consoles if that is your only option.

After I beat it and was getting the final cutscene my PC was apparently talking to someone, but no one was there and I heard no dialog at all, but was forced to respond to an invisible and inaudible character! Thats it though It froze my 360 once during a cutscene, but I had been playing for 30is hours straight, so..... i can excuse that.}

I'm playing on PS3, and honestly I got used to it pretty fast. I've had a few freezes, and obviously graphical glitches, but to be honest I can deal with them.

 

Obviously nobody should play on last-gen consoles if they have a better option, but some people (like me) don't have a better option.

Yeah be careful, it has been known to permanently ruin some models of 360.

The game is good, but barely playable, even DA2 was not this buggy on release.

 

Hopefully the patches will help.

 

Hopefully, but if they released it like it is after testing..maybe a patch can't fix it.

Considering the quantity of 360 and PS3 sitting next to a TV, we could have expected the publisher to mind. I'm not sure we're already at the tipping point where next gen sales outweigh last gen.

I'm playing on the 360. I'm still only the prologue but I haven't seen anything yet to warrant the extreme OP.

It's not pretty to look at, but if you can live with that and don't want/can't afford to buy a new console just for one game then it makes a lot of sense.

The way I hear it there are plenty of bugs to go around, it isn't a last gen thing.

I am playing on 360 as well and have had very few problems. Some texture pop-in and only one garbled conversation in the prologue, and that is it. To also put this in perspective, I also never have time to play more than 2-3 hours at any one time, so that may make a difference as well.

On PS3 i selected a dialogue option and the character just stoo there not speaking so i had to skip and Cassandra just replies, this is lame.

 

They best fix this game soon, i don't like having to play a game with so many problems.

 

This is not Bethesda.

I have had 0 bugs that make the game unplayable just a few audio/video glitches but those are few and far between. If you have it for last gen, just enjoy it as much as you can. Try to look past the unpolished bits and appreciate the game for what it is.

I WAS playing on a PS3, but, at the 10 hour mark, the game kept freezing until the point the game wouldn't load at all.

 

I had to make a trip to Gamestop to buy an Xbone and a new copy of DAI just so I could play the @#$&ing game.  And I really couldn't afford a current-gen console either, which goes to show you how desperate I am to play this game. 

 

Last-gen = don't bother.

Maybe, you haven't seen it yet, but when it crashes your near new console, that is a big problem. After the fourth freeze on my neighbors console his xbox360 was unplayable.

HAd some serious issues (to the point I hated A certain major player in "Abyss" because every time they spoke the game would lock a bit and the dialogue treewould need skipped...

 

..were the game any less phenomenal as a game than it is, I'd befurious.I'm still highly peeved

 

(Especially given the whole gorram Black Hole fiasco that locked me out of ME3 for MONTHS, thankfully not before I finished my first playthru...)

 

Do better, BioWare. ANd patch your gorram mess here. You're better than this.

I've had very few problems. Loading screens can be long but don't seem to be usually. It froze a couple of times yet I haven't seen anything in the last couple of days. I expected worse, to be honest.

For some reason when I play and die in game now the game freezes on trying ot continue. I noticed what it is though....it seems to be if I die doing a rift close side quest. Very strange.

 

For the price I paid I was expecting a little more respect towards last gen owners. I mean if I'm playing the same price I should get I know I'm not going to get next gen visuals but something better than what I got. This is just a slap in the face to be honest.

How many bugs? I was gonna get it for 360, but with the Keep, plus playing Origins, etc well over 10 times, I was so happy I got it for PS4

Wow its this bad on last gen what a shame.

 

It's definitely buggy, but I haven't had anything game breaking.  Just a few minor annoyances.  For me, it was well worth playing it on 360.  I have over 85 hours logged into my main character, have unlocked almost every DAMP character and have one to level 17, and have created three other characters.  It's not been that much of an issue.  Would it be better on current gen?  Absolutely.  Is not playing it at all better than playing it on last gen?  Absolutely not.

 

All this being said, when I upgrade to XBONE, I'll definitely buy it again to play it in its full glory.
