If nothing else, if you can't choose some other outfits while in the keep, please just give us the option to wear our armor. Frankly, I'm mostly happy with its appearance, so just give me that if nothing else.

My male elf just looks horrid in that outfit. It becomes apparent that he's thinner then a terror demon, and his head is three times to big compared to his body. Next to Solas, I just want to cry. My Inquisitor should look like a strong, lithe Dalish elf of the woods, who travels long distances, hunts, and fights. Not like a city elf that was stuck in his master's closet for 10 years.

Is it just me or are all the mage armors the same with a different color
The amount of variety in armor is lacking, yes.

Even still, I'd rather wear my armor at Skyhold. What's funny is that I think the design of the clothes is nice overall, but the color is just awful. If they were to add in a color wheel for the causal clothes, I would be content. I'm betting that some of the way that the clothes fit (like stretching too thin across the male chest) might not look as bad if it was say, in black or navy blue.

Agreed. It wouldn't help the horrible male elf model, but at least black would be better then this beige. Not many people even like the color beige.

I would love to have, like, a sort of wardrobe that you can collect things for. We got to wear those awesome Formal Outfits from the Ball. I think we should have something like that. ![]()

All I know is that my extremely skinny little male elf would not scare anything sitting on a throne in those pjs, with his bony arms for all the world to see. ![]()
Then again, he does sort of look horrifying like a terror demon wearing elven skin........so maybe his ghastly out of proportioned body WOULD scare people. ![]()

Why don't they just keep what we had in Haven? Walk around in your armor.
Or that amazing formal outfit.

There were indeed a ton of alternatives, and bioware went for the worst possible option. It's like they wanted to embarass us.

Was there no way to may a robe or dress or let us wear the hunter one?The amount of variety in armor is lacking, yes.

I have to agree. The pj's are awful! But the the worst thing about the clothes are the boots.

From my knowledge of coding, if they set it as a boolean variable that when true or false, hides armor (like how you can hide helmets), it should be a simple fix to either allow a player to wear armor in Skyhold or give an option in the menu to show or hide armor like with the helmet.
But that's if its really that simple. They could have done more complicated coding for all I know.

Entirely concur. ESPECIALLY on a male Qunari...
Yeah, the way I described it on Tumblr was that it's not like Beast having a fitted tux for the dance with Belle, it's the castle not having a tailor, so he stuffs himself into a human sized outfit. It just looks ridiculous on a male qunari.

I agree, during one of the earlier demos they confirmed it was our only outfit. This is why they need to work on allowing mods, it will make the game so much better.
That, or release extra outfits themselves. And MY GOD, while they're at it PLEASE fix the Orlesian Ball outfits. I was disgusted, I thought it was a scandal to wear the same outfit as someone else?? Even Vivienne wore that awful male-uniform, it was... Really a let down.
That said, I don't actually mind the default outfit. I may want to have choices, but if we are stuck with just one I don't mind this one. It looks awful on male elves though. Freakish.

So true... the poor guy's head is wider than his chest.
You don't even notice it until he puts on those pyjamas.

I don't mind the skinniness of the elf, it's the crooked arms that make it look wrong to me.

Yeah, it looks... bad. Almost out of place. I'd much prefer the option of staying in armor/robes or using the formal attire from Orlesian party
.
You can hardly look impressive, when you're sitting on your throne in that terrible outfit.

I really like the clothes of skyhold, they look like silky pajamas you would relax in. While I realize that many serious things happen in skyhold, the idea of my Inquisitor going to her wardrobe in skyhold and saying "**** it, lets just judge this prisoner in my pajamas" is hilarious.

I would be perfectly happy if my elf could wear the light scout inquisition armour in skyhold. Or one of these Orlesian outfits, preferably with a golden mask. Don't think I could stomach the pjs on a male qunari at all. This in combination with the general lack of armour variety and moddability is just disappointing.

Not to mention,
Spoiler
ahaha I have to admit, I thought the exact same thing.. especially when..
I'm sure with no doubt, they'll add DLCs with armor (and maybe even casual clothes).. I just wish there was a better variety of armor models.
They should also add some type of appearance slot for armor and a slot for casual, being this is a heavy cutscene-related single player game.
At least if the inquisitor was wearing Shepard's hoodie, no one would think twice about attacking.

I would like it if they let us pick our armor when we're walking around all casual like.
I'm not sure why it has to be such a combative question, though. Bioware isn't dragonspawn, right?

Should we really be calling it pjs? I removed all armor from my qunari, and there were the pjs. So maybe its actually more long underwear?
So..............my Inquisitor is passing Judgement in his underwear.......
