Agreed. Where is my luxurious ermine fur coat?
How dare Bioware make me wear such dull clothing!

All they needed to do was allow us to be able to change cloths in Skyhold. We can run around in our armor, the formal outfit, the PJs if we wanted to, and how about some small cloths.. I would also REALLY like a variation of Morigan's dress for the ball. I thought the PJs were bad when I played my F!Quiz, but they are atrocious now that I'm playing a guy. The boots look like fuzzy pink Uggs on him... and he looks like he's going to split all of his seams.
The armors in general are all really boring and disappointing. There are about 3 variations of heavy armor, and the medium ones look exactly the same as the heavy.

There is a cheat engine that allows your armor in skyhold, apparently it is a toggle of one line to make it happen. SO I would like it if Bioware were to enable that toggle as I take the time to craft my cool armor and do not like the pajamas at all. For an elf you can have armor that makes you NOT look like a weird weed but that illusion goes to hell the moment you return to skyhold. Solas is a linebacker compared to my elf, should that NOT have been commented on? Like "Dude, Solas, you are the most buff Elf I have ever seen, what is up with that? Do you take fade steroids? Where can I score some?"
But back on track - A toggle to wear my crafted armor vs the pajamas would be really nice.0

This gave me a somewhat angry chuckle:
http://forum.bioware...n-skyhold-read/
Now that we know it really is as easy as flipping a switch, I'm actually going to ask for a toggle for it. I want a toggle to Show/Hide my armor while at Skyhold. I look at one of the screenshots of someone's Inquisitor in their armor while giving judgement, and it looks so much better. I don't think it would be too much to ask to allow us the choice, considering the means to do so are easily inserted into the game's code.

Question: Are we supposed to have the casual outfit in Haven? I'm still in the Hinterlands. While for the first time I woke up in Haven I had the casual clothes on, every time after I always had my armour. Even if I load the save where I had my casual clothes on it goes back to armour. Unless I'm in the war room.

You're supposed to have armor on in Haven, except when you first wake up. I don't think I ever saw the causal outfit in the War Room at Haven, but I'm back at the prologue. I can let you know either way in a little while.

In haven you are in your armor the first time you enter the war room, and in the pajamas after that (when in the war room). But in Haven itself, you are in armor shortly after you wake up (once the elven girl leaves you switch to armor).

There should have been different types that correspond to different parts of Thedas, like the Skyhold decor. There should have been Free Marches attire, Inquisition, Dalish, etc, etc. I would have rather had differing Skyhold uniforms, then differing mounts. Don't even use mounts, I think they were a waste of time.
OH MY GOD YES. That should so have been an option in your Skyhold customization menu!
And seriously, you should have had a choice of formal attire for WEWH.

...and why is Sutherland's armor more bad ass than anything my Inq owns?
Random NPCs and town guards look more stylish than the Inquisitor. It's a crime.

Makes sense to me. I'm actually really enjoying the open world so I haven't done anything other than screw around in the Hinterlands.

Something like what Cassandra's wearing in her romance tarot card:
Strong, elegant, feminine, and not a pair of ****** oatmeal pajamas.

Hey if the pajamas were cute I wouldn't be complaining, but the pajamas we get are a ****** bedazzled oatmeal colored horsehair onesie.

Doesn't look half bad on a elf female, looks hilarious on everyone else though. Hope they address it in a dlc, as I would buy it heart beat, especially if there are some dalish inspired casual cloths.

You know what bothers me, there are three NPCs that stand near Cullen's room in Skyhold and they always having such cool looking gear. Everytime my inquisitor runs past them, I feel so poor and full of envy. Several of the NPCs look 10 times better than my character does even in her armor at times.

Remember when they were doing E3 interviews and stuff, they talked about how we could add dyes to our clothes and armor and minions armor?
Then we didn't get any of that. *sigh*
"We learned our mistakes! Only showing and sharing 100% complete and in the game things!"
Hate looking at my soliders and scouts run around in ugly armor and booger coloured tunics. After like 90 hours, the grey pajamas got tiring. Making armor with the perfect stats, only for it to be soft pink, bright yellow, green and grey, blows.
I kept thinking "Oh, they must be holding that feature until I get to Skyhold. That makes sense!"

Well, technically it kinda works when you craft armor (in regards to coloring it), but not all the time. Otherwise... *shrugs* Meh.

Dear Bioware. Please do something (anything!) about this. Even if it is just a "Show Armor" toggle, it would be infinitely better than this outfit.

Why it it that we are diminished to running around Skyhold in the most generic, boring of outfits? In a game with such a powerful character creator, a game about creating the inquisitor you want, who the hell thought it would be a good idea to force us to wear what looks like drab pajamas?
Inquisitors in fantasy are almost universally badass, imposing figures. Here, we're dressed like a drab dandy and all sense of customization is ripped right out of us. Who cares that you can change the banners to your keep if the thing you spend the most time looking at (yourself) looks like a peasant with shiny buttons. Walking amidst people clad in the most awesome of armors (Leliana, Cullen, Cassandra) or people who sport trademarks (chesthair, bulging muscles, cleavage, etc.)
Why does all my companions get to be stylish and I have to run around in an embarrassing outfit that my inquisitor doesn't wear well? It looks like what you wear to bed (which he actually does a few times). Look at the slits on the sides of his hips, the way he wears his pants and his shirt. That's not how a nobleman would wear, let alone the leader of an Inquisition, a man who has everything to gain from looking imposing, and nothing from look regal (and this is NOT even regal). We are a leader. THE leader. We shouldn't be running around our keep in casual wear, ESPECIALLY not when we're dealing with the war room or passing sentence on prisoners. We should be imposing, intimidating. We are the freaking Herald of Andraste, not a two bit Kirkwall nobleman. This puts such a significant damper on the otherwise amazing experience of leader the inquisition.
Not to mention,
Spoiler
Once again, bioware puts the style of his npcs ahead of the player's who's relinquished to generic clothing. I'll never understand why they do this. Why do you deprave us of the joy of looking like the badass we ought to be?
Please fix this in a patch and allow us to wear our armor. Or allow us to buy a variety of clothing, much like you did in mass effect. Shepard had some casual wear, but he also had clothing that suited his position.
And for pete's sake make some options look worthy of an inquisitor?
While I extremely agree that we ought to have had a greater selection in choosing our "casual" looks, it's fairly obvious why Bioware chose a simple, neutral outfit. They were simply looking for the outfit which would look okay with as many Inquisitors as possible. While no one looks good per se, in a taupe colored...thing, no one looks horrendously awkward either. I'm definitely hoping that by this point they'll have heard all our complaints and will be looking into setting up some sort of wardrobe feature in our quarters.
