Wow 2730 replies later I am amazed how this thread has grown!

 

4 years ago I created this thread and masseffect2faces.com and today I launched my new website which includes years' worth of feature requests and improvements.

 

To get a good idea of what the site feels like check out this link http://fogn.me/vtef8 and click on "Showcase"

 

The new site allows you to upload up to 10 images per submission.

It has a special "showcase" view for viewing your images in full screen mode.

It allows you to log additional details about your character such as decisions you've made in the plotline

It has a pretty cool advanced search with sorting and filtering.

It's got many more things! Member search.. a full fledged-forum, a live chat.

Soon I'll add Twitch intergration, a very unique rating system like nothing you've ever seen on a website, file uploads and much much more.

 

Oh and did I mention this new site is not only for Mass Effect characters but for characters from ALL games that allow character creation!!!

Nice to see the site up and running again but it brought one thing to my mind. I hate having to download other mods to use a mod I've downloaded. On the very first page I see a beautiful Shepard that is going to need to be further modified to use.

It's frustrating when on the Dragon Age side of the Nexus that they have a great character to use but you open the page to discover you need to download eight other mods to use them.

But it is even more frustrating at your site as no-one seems to be listing what mods they used. You need to make this a requirement.

Edit: Oh please lord introduce a remember me feature. Getting tiresome to keep logging in to the site.

Edit 2: How in the name of all that is holy are we supposed to upload a character? All the feature does is give me a list to enter a few details and then a set of tabs where I can't add or change anything.

Dead god you need to work on some clear and concise instructions on how to upload your character. As it is I feel as if I'd have a better chance in the Labyrinth with the Minotaur than your site...without the thread.

The site may be better looking by it is now way lacking in functionality.

Dear lord never have a seen a smaller Edit button, so Megan Shepard by voteDC should now be on the site. Anyway to customise the character by save file or is it this system only.

Sorry for the rants but your new system is not easy to use. I don't know who you got to beta test this but they must be on stronger meds than I am.
