Would be nice if we had the possibility to get the face code of an imported Shepard. Currently we don't.

Import a ME1 game to ME2, finish said game.  Then start a new ME2 game with your finished imported character.

When I go to import my ME2 save, it only brings up my saved games to load. Am I not seeing something? Or am I doing it wrong? I'll just use the excuse that it's late, and I need sleepy time. Preferably sleepy time involving Axeman's Shepard. Posted Image

In any case, this is my Shep.

Very cool. We just need Bioware to do something like this so that we can have our own Shepards as avatars on this board.

Does anyone know how to edit the vector parameters so I can put in custom iris and lip colors? I looked at the codes and they don't seem to be related to RGB values.

Yeah the values are pretty weird. I just do this weird guessing thing where I think of the values as a percentage. The values in Gibbed normally fall between 0 and 1(0% and 100% in my mind), then I look up the RGB 0-255 color I want in Photoshop and guess at what '%' the R,G and B sliders are at. It's not very precise obviously, just organised guessing lol.

P.S.

If you set the values at like 100 or something Shepards eyes will glow like she's possessed. This is Shepard at B:100, G:44.7870865, R:51.74014.

Er. I'm reading Face Codes everywhere? Can someone, please, tell me how to use them?

When you're making your Shepard, there should be a text box at the bottom where you can use them.

Ah, that must be it. I only imported ME1 characters until now, and since I noticed I couldn't change the face but only recreate it, I never went there.

Another question:
Is it somehow possible to get the face codes of imported ME1 characters? Someone above has posted that you can get their codes once you've finished ME2 with them, but I can't see how that can work, given that you only ever enter the face generation screen with the pre-made face.

Actually it is possible to import your character from ME1 and customize it without it going back to default, most changes, aside from Hair and Skincolor seem to stay the same, at least thats what it looked like to me when i did it. Though the Point of customizing your Shepard even when you import a save is to be able to give him or her a completely new look, which explains the general "Is that really you?" Moments when you play ME2 :D

Can you elaborate as to how you do this? I asked the same question as ledra a few times. We have the same problem, if you import a char, you simply cant get to the customise screen.

Well i may be wrong on this too but i just imported my Character as is, i.e. the Save File to continue with my ME1 Shepard. Then you are asked to either just go ahead with the character as it is or if you wish to customize it. I just picked the customize option and didnt click "just use it as it is" and most things from my ME1 Shepard stayed the same more or less, except that i had to redo the haircolor, hair and the skincolor, but everything else looked pretty much to what my shepard looked like. But maybe mine was just too close to the "default" Shepard so i didnt notice it, would need to try with a radically different shepard, like one made "ugly" on purpose to see if it goes back to default or not

Well generally i think if you import ME1 Shepard and then customize the appearance, the game will try to keep the general look of the ME1 Shepard before you actively customize it, so it wont go back to 100% default Shepard but try to stay close to what yours looked like. Similar as to how sometimes when you copy the Codes from other shepards it seems to not be the same exact replica but as close as it can with small changes. But as said, you'd have to try that out directly. Maybe someone here actually got a "ugly" Shepard Safe that can be used to check if it stays the same or not :D

Believe me, I have tried in MANY different ways. I think i've spent more time watching the intro movies than actually playing the game, and my playthrough lasted 60 hours.

Some of the Shepards in the database seem to have modded hairstyles. For instance the second Jane Shepard of page 1. How do you get that hairstyle?

They used Gibbed's Savegame Editor. Look at the Custom Hair tutorial at the top. xP

Thanks. It's working.

Now the only thing I really need are the face codes for my old ME1 faces. I spent so much time on them and I like the results. I'd just like to make some cosmetic changes. Unfortunately, the once-imported saves have an empty face code, and the twice-imported the default face's code. Grmpf.

Hurray for gibbed's editor! Aenea now with purple hair. And various eye colours :D Oh and please excuse some of the camera angles, which make her jaw look bigger than it is.

This is a really good idea thanks for sharing.. I was rather upset that they took my scars away lol and didn't put them back in this one. You can't even put scars on them now . None the less Bioware to allow us to port are charters to like they did with DAO.

Can I know whether these faces can be use in ME1 or not? All I see is just the codes and how do I input these codes into ME1?

Thank you.

Thank you.

If you input the code into ME2 first, you can then take screenshots/photos of the slider settings on each page, and then apply the same settings in ME1's identical character creator.
