I finally decided to publish my female Shepard (Lia Shepard).



She's available on the Mass Effect 2 Faces Database on this page. The code was taken at the end game (after the scar was removed), so it should import correctly.

She's also now available at Mass Effect Saves under Paragon (Kaidan romanced). She's a level 60 Vanguard (Nemesis) completionist, so if all else fails you can start a new ME2 game with this ME1 save imported.

When I use the editor on masseffectfaces.com (is that right) and put in the face codes in one of my save games the face doesn't change. I changed the hair but after about 5 different codes the face is the same every time. What am I doing wrong? I put the code into the Player/Raw/Face Code line right where the last one was and save the file. The hair I put in changed, but the face doesn't. Is there something else I need to do do change the head/bones structure underneath? I thought the face codes did all of that?

These codes work only if you use them during character generation at the beginning of the game. To change face using Gibbed, you would need to import whole face morph.

Okay, but if I finished the game and want to start over on harder difficulty and import that ME2 save, will I get another face edit thingy in-game like at the start? And where do I put the codes? Do I just plug them in in order? How do I know which one is for which section (eyes, forehead, etc.)?

If you import ME2 save, yes. You'll have 'Code' bar at the bottom of the screen, if you pick 'custom appearance' option. Then you need only to type (copy/paste also works) the code you want.

As for which section is for which face part - the code dynamically adjusts when you slide the bars, so you can observe which part changes i.e for eye color, etc.

Oh yes - of course! The CODE BAR! But was there any doubt that there would be a code bar? Heh - how silly some of these questions are...

I have just come to the conclusion that, despite my original Shepard concept, my next Shepard will be not only a blonde, but an impossibly Malibu Barbie'ish blonde. I just feel at this time that it would be most appropriate given recent er, developments.

Looks like 360 owners can now have some of the mods PC users have too! (Not tried it, just found this looking to see what the version for Pc was...

For those Xbox users wondering if this is legit, I'm happy to announce that it is! You'll just need some way to get your ME2 files from your Xbox360 to your PC (not telling how, just  in case it's ban-worthy material), and you're good to go!

Yes, evidently I managed to completely miss the whole code line at the bottom part when designing my first Shepard. I feel about as brilliant and thorough as can be!

But that was yesterday. Thanks to you, today it WORKED!!!! YAY!!! Krystynne Shepard looks today like a CoverGirl where yesterday she looked like she'd eaten an entire tree full of lemons! Liara will love you for this

Now if I could only ask the people who lured me into trying to move my difficulty up why they tricked me...I can't believe everyone is talking about Insanity when I've already had to restart every fight in the game on the way to getting Garrus and I'm only on Veteran. Nobody misses anymore except ME!
