Learn how to use the editor and make something unique. Take a base code that you like, and then alter it through character creation and the gibbs editor. Are you expecting face codes that do all the work for you?

And isn't that the entire point of the website? To get past the boring stock options that look all the same? Or do you think making celebrity look alikes is the only demonstration of skill?

IMO the whole point of the website is to share face-codes. The problem I have with the gibbed editor is that it makes a face that those on the 360 can't use, so the highest rated faces can only be used by about half the community.
A true demonstration of skill would be using the tools Bioware give us to make something truly unique. though I will admit there is a certain amount of skill in the gibbed editor contribution, I would be more impressed with a vanilla submission (Like Thiev's above).
kayinvanderkill, If you'd be willing, please post a pic of yours with stock hair etc so I can take a look at it that way. I may well change my mind if I can see it normally rather than being distracting by the ice-white colours.

Anyway, this gal's for a Paragon playthrough, so I sorta tried for a "good girl" look without being too heavy on the Barbie-ness.

Oh I understand where you're coming from with the 360 issue, but this is also why I picked up the PC version. Take Dragon Age for instance, which can be heavily modded. DAO is so much more fun on the PC BECAUSE of the modding (which thankfully doesn't require an external program like Gibbs). You can only do so much with the stock character creation, and about the only thing I can think of for something unique is to make a face that's silly or completely unrealistic. There's those celebrity ones, like the Obama face, but I prefer doing originals.
So ya, my faces cater to PC fans that know how to use the editor. =\\ I'd post the base, but I'm sure that something just like it or very similar to the base has been put up a million times already - so thats why I made a custom edited version with a color scheme that went with a certain color scheme I made for her armor as well. We could do so much more if Bioware made some GOOD hair styles that went below the shoulders. Sadly, I think the graphics engine is really limited with certain facial features, one of them being hair.

I dunno about the male ones, but most of the top-rated female faces look X360 friendly to me :/ I think I saw 4 out of 20 with significant mods, but otherwise the codes should work fine on both platforms.
Incidentally, I know I've given my shepard purple eyes - or rather I retained them because I tried to change my direct import's hair, but it wouldn't let me do that without changing her eye colour (so I had to use Gibbed to get them back). I'm only putting this out there because I knew some people would be put off by the fact I wrote "used Gibbed" in Aenea's description box, but it's a tiny thing, and is actually do-able on the 360 (i.e. create purple eyed Aenea in ME1 then import directly into ME2 unchanged).

Totally with you on that point, maybe a future Cerberus Network DLC
And Awesomename, I actually used Aenea as the base for my femshep. Gave her green eyes & red hair though 'cuz I'm a sucker for a red-head

Hah, nothing wrong with sexual fantasies
p.s. this is mere semantics, but wouldn't it be horny geeks, not nerds

Which is why I don't think we need any elaborate shoulder-length or longer hairdos, not to mention since the engine isn't built to animate them properly, they wouldn't really look any good in game anyway. But people like to get creative with the character creator, and if most of the hairdos look like poop, everyone's characters end up looking the same.

Kayin, can you post the face code for your FemShep please? Oh, and other than the hair mod, what other text mods do you use on your Shep? I assume you are running the HD eyes too correct?

===UPDATE===
Now with thumbnails and a celebrity section!
I cannot wait to see some awesome celebritiy lookalikes uploaded! RIght now John Locke takes the cake I can't believe how alike he looks!
Hi everyone!
This morning as I was reading about the game and how it now allows you to share your generation codes for your character's face I decided to take a look around to see if anyone had already shared some good looking faces with their codes. And I found a few here and there but I realized these would be hard to find unless they were all added in a list somewhere.
So seeing as how I had some free time today I decided to whip up a quick website to handle this task!
This was done very quickly (took me about 3 hours) so I know it looks a bit ugly right now. I'll try and get one of my graphic designer friends to whip up a header or maybe even a full skin for it later this week. In the meantime well at least it's functional.
I'll be adding many improvements in the next days such as a search box, pagination, sorting and a rating system.
If you have any comments or suggestions I'd love to hear from you on this as well. I haven't added a contact link to the page yet but I will add a suggestion box soon. In the meantime feel free to reply to this thread.
Enjoy!
Here's the link: www.masseffect2faces.com
Please spread the word / link on other forums or threads? I'd hate to see my efforts goto waste and have nobody visit the site.
Thanks!
Awesome but, how can we get the slider info for XBOX version pls?

That greasy custom hair looks horrible. I don't see why people find it attractive. It makes Shepard look like a dirty skank.
This is bad because???
Did you just timewarp from 1985 when "greasy people" had "AIDS"? <_<

It should be on the squad screen, at the top of your Shepards display... If it isn't (and that was the case for me) , you might need to finish your current game, and import your ME2 shepard. That should fix it (it did for me).Haexpane wrote...
