Awesome but, how can we get the slider info for XBOX version pls?

It should be on the squad screen, at the top of your Shepards display... If it isn't (and that was the case for me) , you might need to finish your current game, and import your ME2 shepard. That should fix it (it did for me).

Thanks, I just fiinished ME1 but realized long after I started it was on a diff profile... the initial profile I created when I got a 360 before got a bridge so I could enable live.. didnt realize I could not just merge my offline profile w/ my XBL account until it was too late

vespernight can you somehow seperate the pc codes and the 360 codes? that would make it easier to search for face codes that actually work.

Thanks in advance(:

That screenshot has a strange effect on forumgoers... *rubs forehead* Wanna recreate.

Ok, so she's down in the main battery, and she thinks she's the beauty pageant winner, the best humanity has to offer or something.
Right, Angie...
Then she goes to Miranda's office, and realizes she's still the plain old Jane, as plain as any other femshep out
there. Maybe even plainer. Right, Jane...

It's all about the lighting and the camera and the stupid half-smirk animation. Everybody looks glamorous in the Main Battery.

(If anyone still wants the code, 523.8I8.I1B.R1R.867.J21.LLK.A11.JB9.GJ5.937.316
I've uploaded it to the database as AngieJane Shepard
Keep in mind, I'm not the author of the original screenshot posted elsewhere)

While taking the screens, I've found out that the ugly balding effect of the High Updo of TooTightness can be somewhat offset by swapping scalp textures via Gibbed's Editor.

Morph Head>Texture parameters
Hed_Scalp_Diff = BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Pulled.HMF_HIR_SCP_Pll_Diff
Hed_Scalp_Norm = BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Pulled.HMF_HIR_SCP_Pll_Norm
Hed_Scalp_Spec = BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Pulled.HMF_HIR_SCP_Pll_Mask
Hed_Tang =BIOG_HMF_HIR_PRO.Pulled.HMF_HIR_SCP_Pll_Tang

This is actually a good idea: COMBINING HAIR STYLES!

Has anyone else tried this and have an idea of what each Hed watever codes represent in connection to the hair parts? Cuz maybe you can combine a style that has bangs with hair that a bun/ponytail and PRESTO you have something new!

BTW WindOver, those texture codes are for the scalp change, right? The Hair_diff, Hair_norm, Hair_mask, and Hair_tang are still the same values that correspond to the tight bun hair style?

The codes themselves are no different between 360 and PC, you just have to watch out for ones that don't use stock hair/eye colours/textures. That said it would be good to have an option when you upload/search to differentiate standard faces from gibbed ones.

  He has an interesting face. The stubble you added does a good job at preventing it from looking plastic. You should post the code. :)
~
  I updated the code I posted a few pages back. I would like to change my image again on the database site but I don't want my image bumped back up to the first page anytime soon, so I'll post it in this thread as proof that I have way too many screenshots on hand and a little too much down time at the moment. <_<

another reason it would help a lot is because it would be easier to tell which codes are valid on the 360 because i dont know all the edit options on the 360 version

PsyCoil, to use an ME2 code in ME1 just -1 from the number and that's how many 'clicks' from the left it is. Just remember to skip scar and that the numbers go 1-9 then A-Z (there is no zero).

And BadX1, if you're talking about the default appearance Shepherd, it doesn't exist because that uses a higher detail model. Some people have been able to get a code while using it, but it just generates the first preset under cutom.

OK, than just -1 from the number...

But what about the letters? how I can know where to put the slider?

::EDIT::

OK, I've tried to follow that guide: http://social.biowar...index/1475073/1
But didn't get any good result with that code...

I have played with the codes for a long time. Serched the database looking for a Shep for ME1. And i never failed. This is what i done with one of the codes.

The code:

741.2GL.F18.B61.DGE.1AH.3IC.121.B96.148.2G8.276

It's changed a little so it fits my Shep.

And this is the way to get sliders from it.

Every number is the next slider in ME1 (exept the Scars witch you don't have in ME2) so the firs 3 are the head:

so first slider is on 7th position that means 6 clicks to right,

next is on 4th so 3 clicks,

and so on.

And the letters. Numbers end on 9 so:

A=10

B=11

C=12

D=13

E=14

F=15

G=16

H=17

I=18

J=19

K=20

L=21

M=22

N=23

O=24

P=25

Q=26

R=27

S=28

T=29

U=30

W=31

X=32

Y=33

Z=34

And remember it's just numbers so it means -1 clicks to the right.

Also some hairstyles and colours where changed in ME2 so don't get annoyed when it doesn't look as you want. I can help if you want some more advice.

---> Because the face creator is very very limited with locked and predefined offset values <---

That and only 3 types of face maps makes them all look like relatives. Paste the line above for the next twohundred requests. This has been said before...and before that...and befo:sick:

Sucks that ME2 doesn't give face code for imported faces. Took a while to make it pixel perfect. I made infiltrator based on this Shepard. If someone is interested the face code for Shepard bellow is this:

953.PCD.N15.F8A.E9Q.26U.1NB.833.C46.436.2G6.572

For some reason it looks like ME2 doesn't have all blush colors but 5 is really, really close. Other than that it's exactly the same.

Btu anyway, here's my imported female Shepard:

I'm having trouble with the site. The faces are not showing up and the thing looks weird. Anybody know how to fix it I need to get a face code. I'm using Internet Explorer 8, I don't know if that's related or not since IE8 is kind of buggy.

The skin colour is most definitely gibbed, see the guide on the codes database.

This is my current FemShep based somewhat off the concept of the Freeman from Dune who had the blue-within-blue eyes.  I’m still tweeking the “white” portion of the eyes to make them a bit darker but the results so far are decent in my limited opinion.  Much credit for this goes to Azureum (http://me2mods.azureum.com/forums/) who taught me much of everything I know about how to use Gibbed’s Save Editor.

To get this character to work, you’ll need to have modified the eyes, hair, and skin using Gibbed as well as having Texmod for the gear.  I’ll outline below where I made alterations.

EYE_White_Colour_Vector:  4, 4, 40, 1

EYE_Iris_Colour_Vector: 1, 1, 40, 1

SkinTone:  0.9592996, 0.7488649, 0.6083597, 1

 Facecode: 753.7AG.M17.F82.MMH.44T.3N9.911.FL6.6A4.633.476

 If you need help using Gibbed, let me know as I’ve come to have a much closer relationship to it than I ever wanted…..

Does anyone happen to know if there's a way to get face code for imported face? Is there workarounds for that?

EDIT: Apparently it's possible to get pixel perfect copy of imported face. It took a while but it definitely is possible.

I knew it was possible, but since I'm new to modding the PC versions, care to share how you did it?

Also - totally n00bish question but I just got the PC version of ME1 (had been playing both on 360 up until recently) and was wondering if Gibbed works for ME1 as well (at all, even if you have to tweak file names) and if so or otherwise is there a good resource/link to lists of character mods and save editing for ME1? I know the baiscs of tweaking, but I'm more interested in how to swap Shepard for other characters and mid-game appearance editing for ME1. Haven't been able able to find that stuff specifically, but I know it's out there.

Nothing magical. Just swap between custom Shepard and imported Shepard and look closely for differences. So no modding, that being said I'm sure that the characters face info is stored in save game file. So in theory it should be possible to rip that info from imported face save game (after you started new play through) or get the face code somehow. I tried HEX editor but that corrupts the file.
