characters? My import generally looks very good but the blush color is
much more pronounced in ME2. It looks like she is storing spare
incendiary rounds in her cheeks:

Is there any way to import and tweak something without trying to recreate ME1 sliders from scratch?

Isn't there a default button? Anyway, try this:

There is, but I was wanting to use the default as a base and tweak it a bit. If you use the "default" it just goes straight into the rest of your character creation.

541.PG8.CNF.A11.R5V.312.35A.63C.1KB.285.E47.5
Looks pretty similar with the shadows (like ones when first walking downstairs to talk to Illusive Man)
More paragon version of this face: 341.PC8.CQF.A16.P7T.353.ESD.67M.4H6.4E5.E47.5.
Didn't see yet how it feels in-game, was just playing with editor.
If someone likes it and can make some screens, feel free to add it to face codes site.

no, just like you lose some features of preset faces if you touch sliders - the default face is premodeled in more precise tools then our basic face editor

I rather wondered this myself. It seemed strange we couldn't slightly tweak the existing face. Especially given the transfer doesn't always . . . work out so well.

From this, I figure that entering that code will give you one specific face that is none of the faces you've tried to import from Mass Effect 1.
That's not good.

Really? I did notice there are options I couldn't pick from ME1 - namely, the eye color I used on my import character no longer exists. I wonder if that's why...

I think Glenda Shepard might cause some issues... I'm laughing my head off.
