I did character import from ME1 that's actually based on ME2 face code. The original ME2 face code is exactly the same as imported eye color doesn't quite match and neither does blush color (can't find matching color in ME2).

Natural, I do not use mods for Mass Effect. What is gibbed exactly?

I think I'll stick to borrowing others face morphs. My other shep Nyla.

 Funny that you write off the one above as "just another generic Shep." If I had to choose between which of the two is better, it would definitely be the red head. I must have seen atleast 20 or so femSheps on the database site that look exactly like Nyla. While there's nothing wrong with her face proportions....etc., I much prefer something more original and a tad unconventional. It's like Nyla has become the "default" Shepard for so many and yet I really do not see her appeal. Please don't take offense to what I just said.

Thanks. And yeah I agree. That is what I was trying to do was to get away from the usual look. Maybe that's why I threw my shep Nyla together for a quick play through.

Interesting perspective. I find that my "generic" face fits her voice much better. But each to their own.

OK, let's see if I can get some Shepard pics in here, too. Not sure which procedure works in this forum, though, so bear with me for experimenting and editing this post for a while...

May I present, with the pics above, Commander Dale Shepard, a vanguard who became the sole survivor from a terrible incident on Akuze early in her career. A big scar on her cheek always reminds her of that trauma.

I'm quite pleased with her coming across as a strong-willed woman fit for the officer corps. With Project Lazarus for ME2, she was restored with her great looks...



...as an adept, as she evolved to a nemesis in ME1, and  "vanguards" don't count quite the same in ME2. There was no need to replicate the scar.

Dale was not my first Shepard. I started ME1 with a maleshep several times and eventually played one through the game only to discover that he had a rather abnormal facial feature that looked too bad in ME2. Wanting something different for a while, I quit the male route and was fortunate to get this Dale "looking great" from the beginning (even the voice of Shepard fits perfectly to Dale). Have enjoyed femshep careers ever since. It really is a treat to see a character of one's own creation, especially a pretty female, in the stunningly beautiful environments which the ME series provide.

I've made my Shepards without knowing about this forum for them at all. I can now see that there are many other great-looking Shepards trying the save the galaxy, some of them resembling the ones working in my own universe. Good show!

Well since youre officially asking for it i can find about five of those "generic" sheps an the first 5 pages of the FaceDB site, whereas there are another five lookalikes to the "Nyla" or "Xhyn" face.

So now that we have established the fact that ALL shepards are somewhat GENERIC, we can elaborate about the fact that what actually separates a face from the rest is the amount of UGLINESS versus BEAUTY.

Though this is entirely subjective, i have personally come to think that the "Xhyn" face is just a perfect 100% match-on for the voice, animations and general attitude of Femshep.

I am honestly thinking about opening a petition to make that face default for ME3.
I think its that awesome.

Samurai_Smartie I think you need to calm down. That face morph is just as generic if not more so since there are no changes to it whatsoever when people use it. I don't think it fits the voice at all. I actually had a hard time playing my femshep with that face because of it. So yeah. Simmer down.

Mmkay, here goes. (My first post to this forum btw).

I've tried to start playing with male shepard but for now I haven't succeeded. FemShep ftw every time. So far there are three canon shepards. Every time I try to be badass but no success there either, can't be an a-hole even in virtual reality.

In common these three have that Council was saved, Wrex is alive, Liara is LI, Kaidan was killed in Virmire (except with leonoria, Ashley killed), Rachni saved. Selene hates Cerberus the most, Selenia and Leonoria not so much. All three kept their spectre status.

It's nice but it's just Ashley William's face slightly edited... 
Also people take joy in creating their own Shepards, it makes the game more personal.
