These pics are pretty old but might as well show them I have more but they aren't on this computer

I've just noticed in the 2nd pic it looks like light is coming out of Shepard's nostrils!

Is it possible to view the face code in ME1 after starting, or maybe extract it from a config or save file somehow?
If I can find a way to get it, I'll post it.  No problem.  Glad you like! 

Maybe it will show me when I import her into ME2 for my second play-through.  I am near the end of ME1 now, I think.  I played them in reverse order for some bizarre reason.  My first play was as male Paragon Soldier in ME2.  I much prefer this character though.

your forum avatar is tied to your dragon age account/character. since i don't own dragon age, what i did was download the free demo, create a guy, then save his image as my avatar. then i used the built-in profile updater in the demo to upload the avatar.

after that, it was a simple matter of editing the image file to what i wanted it to be, then setting the file as read-only, then using the demo to upload it again.

It seems that face codes for imported characters don't show up at all in ME2, but I'm in the process of putting something together that can generate ME1 sliders and ME2 facecodes from ME1 save imports, if that makes sense.

Anyway, I'm still testing it out at the moment, so if you want you can send me a save file after you've imported your character and I'll see what I can do.

Quick update.

The maths needed to get this working is... awkward. I don't really understand how the character customization became as disjointed as it is. Very strange.

This page has some great info and has saved me a lot of time and effort, but there's at least one mistake there that would mess up face codes, so I need to double check a lot of values and the calculations behind them.

So far I have an almost fully functioning spreadsheet which can generate face codes for female characters, but this currently relies on manually inputting 60 or so values, and visually identifying some features and colours, which certainly isn't ideal.

Once I've got the maths firmly in place my brother and I will take all the raw data and try to make something useful of it. The plan is to have a program than can read exported head morph files from Gibbed, or possibly read save games directly. No promises, though.

this is the first femshep i've ever made that i'm actually happy about

i needed to make a canon femshep that had done all the quests in ME1, so that's how Angela Shepard was born

Colonist, Ruthless, paragon towards her friends but has no problems eliminating her enemies completely







i'm looking forward to taking her into ME2 in the future, but i'm super pleased at the way her face turned out. tough and strong, attractive but not enough to put her into model/barbie territory.

Actually a random effort, as the default graphic quality for my computer made everything in that screen look terrible, so I pretty much dragged the sliders to random positions and had a look at what turned out. Pretty perfect, almost exactly as I envisioned her.



Also intended to be a straight, by-the-books military stoic, but I ended up letting her emotions get in the way. So now she's the regretful Butcher of Torfan. And pure Paragon.

I finished up this character's appearance yesterday, and finished her playthrough today. She uses Ashley's face texture and custom eye/hair colors. I played Erica Shepard as a mixed alignment, leaning Paragon infiltrator. I'm not so sure I like my FemShep import in ME2.  The head looks too fat and masculine now.  I think she will need a bit more plastic surgery...
