I don't get it? This has been there since Haven but every time i go to hand in anything to research it says i have nothing, how exactly do you get the things required?
How to research creatures/demons?

From dead bodies. Items are in valuable category (so be carefull when selling things) and have yellow background.

You'll find them on the corpses of your enemies, they usually have yellowish golden icons. Remember to hand them in before you sell everything in the valuable tab, as that's where they end up. You could accidently sell them if you're not careful.

This. It took me like 10 hours and much wondering why I never had any research items to turn in before this occured to me. Sigh.
