I, and apparently many other people on the internet, have been searching The Western Front for hours for those gorram Alpha Quillback Spines and have only managed to locate 1. I personally have yet to see even a minor quillback since that first encounter and I've stayed steadfastly in the two locations where I'm supposed to find them (the canyons and the pass). Some say you need to go as far as liberating that keep of Vetanori to get the last one (since doing so apparently unlocks the Old Road). I don't want to liberate the keep, I want to wait until I can make enemies who get to close to me explode before I start on the keep. Am I just not looking in the right places, or is there really only 3 Alpha Quillbacks in the game total?
On a similar note, does anyone know a more efficient method of gathering Obsidian other than dodging fireballs in the Hinterlands?
