So, I have the bug with my Qunari Mage that she's treated as a human by Josephine and gets human war room missions and such. I know others have noted it, but there's so many threads cropping up I can't find any addressing these questions (and forums search was no use).

 

First off, has BW given any acknowledgement of the issue?

 

Secondly, does this happen for all Qunari Mages? Or would I be able to reroll and potentially get it working right?

 

At the moment I'm waiting for the patch, because this is a deal-breaker for me, but I somewhat suspect that even when patched it might require restarting my playthrough.

Same bug on Qunari Rogue. 60 hours in so damn well am not going to reroll anymore, just going to have to deal with it myself. There's no way to promise it would work if you retried, but I reckon some people have it working right. However, reading the forums has revealed that not only Qunari suffer from this bug, but elves and dwarves as well. Looks like Human is the only race to be certainly raceflagged completely correct.
