An alliance with the qunari is worth pretty much nothing. Just hear Sten dialogue in Origins. The Qunari don't really respect the treaties they signed after the exalted march. They don't attack now simply because they're still gathering strenght. To them, those treaties were mere pieces of paper. I say go for the charges. They are an group of magnificent bastards.

That could do it as well! Didn't think of that. Helps if you bring him

Yeah, I'll always go with saving the Chargers. The only sad thing about it is that his dang card turns out so depressing looking after that, when everyone else's looks pretty happy or at least normal after doing their personal quests.

Well, it does eventually change again if you do a romance. Does anyone know if it changes otherwise?
TBH I think a card where Iron Bull is proudly flying the Qunari flag is also depressing, or at least unnerving.

I took the history perk and gained common sense. Have to think long term.Realistically, yes. However, from my character's point of view? I'd rather bring in the Qunari than risk Corypheus winning. In addition, any information the Ben-Hassrath provides can save more lives from non-Qunari than the handful you do by saving the Chargers.

I've done it both ways. Let the chargers die on my male qunari who's friends with Iron Bull, let them live on my female dwarf who's romancing the Bull.

did anyone catch what Iron Bull said about the Kossith? that maybe the people back where they are from still go by that, and then later he says that without the Qun their rage might turn them into beasts?
Might be nothing but maybe the Qunari are more of Refugees running from a land drenched in barbarism and they are now attempting to steal a new home by force.
If it really was foreshadow, (And not me seeing into it) the Qunari seem almost sympathetic, i wish i could go give the Arishok a hug.
If DA4 does have to do about the Qunari Invasion, i think they are going to have their own enemy breathing down their neck.

Yeah, I love his romance card. But I was assuming it didn't change from the sad one without romance. Good question lol.

An interesting thought, kind of like halo 4s explanation of why the humans and forerunners fought, the humans were running from the flood and were having to do it by force... interesting thing for the qunari.... but i would think the qunari wouldnt have agreed to a cease fire (with everyone except tevinter) centuries prior if they were running

True, maybe the Kossith aren't so much chasing them but more chased them off their original island. it would just make the Qunari history a bit more interesting.

I really liked this quest. Bull always seemed conflicted about the qun since we met him. But the option of either sacrificing his friends or satisfying the qun. I do wish that we had the option to say it's up to you bull

I chose the Qun. Whatever my Trevelyans issues with the qunari, Corypheus is a threat right now. Any ally is welcome and the more powerful takes precedence.

I don't like Iron Bull without the Qun. It's like turning a samurai into an exiled ronin. I mean yeah the chargers are cool but he could be destined for so much more with his people. It's not like mercenary work is some great achievement. I feel in the short term he would be happier with his chargers but in the long term be happier/satisfied with his people and philosophy still part of his life.
I'm a big fan of Qunari and the Qun so i am biased. Plus the idea of an Inquisition+Qunari alliance is too tempting. I know Bioware won't do much with it since it was a minor optional choice but i like the idea of the Inquisition being the organization to really introduce Qunari to southern Thedas properly, like a sort of cultural exchange that can bring the race/nation more intertwined with the rest of Theas or end terribly with the Qunari wanting to convert the Inquisition to the Qun, so many possibilities.
