Are there any console commands I could use to re-open the character editor after I've begun the game? Thanks!

As far as i know, we only have access to the frostbite engine console with '^', but this console only gives u access to commands regarding graphic settings. So there is no way to play with game changing commands yet.

Damn ok, I'm really getting sick of people calling my Quanari a female when he's a male, and I really don't want to restart the game, and I heard you could change it by going into the character editor at the beginning and fix it :/ Thanks for the quick answer though.
I have been able to access to console using the tilde (~) key just as I have in DAO and DA2. I'm not sure there is a command to open the CC though, or at least I haven't found it anywhere online yet.
This only worked in Skyrim because the character editor was an overlay. The editor in Inquisition is loaded as an entirely seperate world entity and without the proper flags in the intro sequence there would be no way to get out of there. If you use the patch to fix 30FPS cutscenes on PC you can sometimes get stuck in the CC editor if you don't skip the opening cutscene.
Someone made a save importer for Origins that would allow you to import faces between saves, short of Bioware adding a DLC to the keep to change appearance that's probably all you can hope for.
i dont understand why this wasnt included, i mean you can change hawkes appearance before s/he shows up at the keep. A creator screen, with better lighting could have been put for us through a mirror or something, Its just plain bizarre.
