Hello. First of all sry when this topic already exists.
My Question is why you have in MP only 4 skills to use and not 8 like in SP. Someone told me then you must choose which skill is more important and which not. But when im able to use 8 skills i can combine skilltrees better or make two skillmenues (for example one for one mob and one for a group of mobs). Now after a few hours of playing the MP i stopped because it is every time the same button smashing.
Now u maby the there are the portions. Yeah ok but not everybody want to oparte with this portions and most time u have not enough in high level events. Then u stand there and u are fucked because of no portions to use and u dont have the right skill because there was not enough space inthe skillmenue.
I want to make a mage who can give the group first a shild then make 2-3 area attacks and after that give the rest mobs with single skills right in the face.
The SP was so lovely you can choose between 4 or whatevery skilltrees and between more then 20 skills to slecet the best of all 8 in your skillmenue. Only two skilltrees in MP ok that i understand but why only 4 abilities :-(. Ok after lvl 20 u decide to go on lvl 1 and change the skilltree but it will ever be the same **** one button smashing. Freedom is the best way to make a got game. Give the Player the chance to slecect between portions or skill!

Sorry for my english im german

I think it's a limit placed upon us due to keyboard PC people...

See they have one hand on their mouse, and only 4 fingers and a thumb for all other controls.  With one button for run, that only leaves 4 abilities, one for each finger.

If they used a controller, then they could have far more buttons quickly available, and hence 8 actions like single player.

Just a guess-theory  ;)

There are only 4 abilities because if there were any more available a character would become OP.

I think you have this backwards.

Why OP? In SP a character with 8 abilities is also not OP.
Only 4 abilities because of the pc-player is not correct. There are mouses with more than 6 buttons and with the normal mouse you can already use 2 skills (left and right button) and sprint is normal on press left and right together. Anyone got more reasons against 8 abilities :P?! I think that you have to use the portions is only to bring the player to buy platine.

This thread should have been titled "I suck at creating specialized characters and fulfilling one given role in a group. I wanna be OP! Waaaaah"

Because in MP Focus abilities use stamina/mana not focus.
