I’d really like it if the hide-helmet toggle was per character.  While I prefer most of the party members without helmets including my Inquisitor, Vivienne is pretty much defined by her headgear and should always have it on.  I also like to put Serra and Solis in hats sometimes depending on what their whole ensemble looks like.
